Decided to check out the revenge manga where MC is doing revenge on people with some masochist goddess giving him power and it just turn into redo healer [sic] :skully

Yeah that one was trash

of manga only the lich series I don't remember the name of was half decent as an actual revenge story and it was too short to actually recomment

(shield media has a different plot in each version IIRC and I haven't checked out all of them)

And I went through Heaven's Path library manhua and while the dude did transcend mortality very quickly he kinda didn't have a choice :mjlol

his options were basically keep breaking through as soon as possible or die before he hit 30 cause of poison

Isn’t that Alien X of the newest continuity where he’s severely nerfed?

It’s an obvious downgrade when you compare that to this.

Finally finished Fallout. Once again, it's good but shits on the original in a big way.

If it was its own separate continuity? I would be fine with all of this, but it's not. It's not bright and funny like a lot of dumb ass reviewers are saying. It's extremely fucking bleak and dark. The humor gets more sparse as the story moves along, but it changes too many things to be faithful.

Lucy joining The Ghoul near the end the was best part. Vault-Tec being the masterminds behind everything was not. They are the big bad here. The Ghoul himself is the best character, and he is still a monster, but one who has a debt to Lucy now and wants to show her the truth behind Vault-Tec. He also wants to see his family. Who might still be alive. As his wife was part of Vault-Tec, and they have the cryo storage from Fallout 4.

Which was the last plot twist. Lucy's father, and everyone from Vault 31 who became overseers for Vault 33, are from before the war. Lucy's father also blew up Shady Sands. So it was not the BOS, but the BOS does destroy the remnants that were trying to make use of Cold Fusion to bring back Shady Sands. What's left of the NCR dies in the last episode. Fighting against the BOS.

The weirdest thing is people still trying to say the NCR survived. When the last episode kills off the last remaining members of it. The city has the lights back on, but the people of the NCR are gone. BOS has taken the city for themselves.

So, basically, BOS now has access to Cold Fusion. They rule over the remains of Shady Sands. And the leader of the NCR, along with the remnants of it, were all killed.

Why are people on Twitter trying to make it sound as of the NCR is alive elsewhere? Their president got blown to smithereens along with her last followers. Who have become nothing better than raiders due to the destruction of Shady Sands.

In terms of tone? I would say it's even like Fallout 1, and less like New Vegas and Fallout 2. It successfully captures the horror of it, and that's why I hate it. It shits on the games, but captures their themes perfectly.

How the hell did anyone call this bright and funny though? IGN are retards.

Lucy finds her mother, and she had been caught in the blast of the thermonuclear device her husband used to blow up Shady Sands. Her mother became a ghoul. A near feral one, and in the last episode she has to mercy kill her own mother.

Earlier than that? The Ghoul killed an old friend about to go feral, and cut him up for food afterwards. Forcing Lucy to help him carve up his friend for food. Then made jerky from some of his remains.

It is dark.
