Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

I got chat gptd about chatgpt, I have to respect and fear your power magic man Apologies for the annoyance it just really confused me because they're functionally the same feat (Instantly freezing in an aoe), except cocytus was affecting more people in a larger area.

You know in hindsight if I was just trying to scale shalltears resistance to cold maybe creation freezing that lake would have been better... I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS D:

I asked it to include air in it's calc and it gave me Considering the additional heat removed from the surrounding air along with the lizardmen, the total energy required for Cocytus to freeze them amounts to approximately 0.0873 tons of TNT. This calculation integrates the energy needed to lower the temperature of both the lizardmen and the air within the freezing AOE. Thus, it provides a comprehensive assessment of the freezing feat's energy demands in the context of Overlord's lizardmen. I don't trust this bot anymore and Im gonna try to maths.

This is making less sense to me They're pure muscle, far more durable then humans and have scales tougher then poorly made iron armor. Im really not getting why talions is higher, cocytus freezes a larger area in the same amount of time. Heck when I calculated using cocytus height and area in chatgpt (Asking it to swap talions numbers for cocytus) I got a much higher yield. I mean it's more controlled but cocytus literally flips it on and off instantly freezing the area around him and killing the lizardmen. I don't see how that affects the calculation.

K now what if we plug in Cocytus's numbers? He's 8'2 (or 2.5 meters) since it uses the height to assume the top of the aura. And his aura covered twenty five meters around him.... From my understanding this should let us get cubic meters and make a calc. Sorry to be asking all this of you Ive never touched chat gpt!

Im getting suspicious of chatgpts calcs now....What are the odds. (This is a joke for anyone that didn't get it)

Wait where is he getting that cubic meters measure from, he notes it covers an area of about three meters around talion. so how is he calculating the cubic area? Cause talions aoe with that ability is much smaller then 25 meters in game so I assume the big numbers are a result of the cubic measurement.

I feel like at this point theres a bit of vagueness, how big were the hills/how much of the mountain? Were the balrogs mach 2 or mach 28? Assuming the low to mid end calcs shalltear should still be able to keep up. Though I suppose thats just a consequence of tolkien not writing a power fantasy where numbers are the most important thing in all the lands. Funnily enough overlord wouldn't have trouble with recreating the weather feats, ainz actually has to be careful about his feelings about the weather because his subordinates will not hesitate to change it to suit his mood. Which has lead to some...concerns...Though farmers are pretty happy with more sunny days/rain on demand. (Then again they're also quite pleased with the tireless undead work force doing all the normally menial and back breaking labor...) I do wonder if they could recreate the boiling feat using creation though. As its whole point was to change the nature of the terrain, Much as they froze the lake assumedly...

Wait then how did talion get 13.4 tons? Did I miss something in that calc? I used cocytuses feat because it seemed rather similar.

Sometimes I might accidentally wank it and I apologize but I do my best to provide the relevant text/quotes. Fuck I was underselling the ranges high levels archers can reach until I checked the books... I just remembered the word kilometer being mentioned.

Wait if it's the high level archers hitting from a kilometer out I do owe an apology. I had it wrong...High level archers can easily hit from over two kilometers out.

I literally have the qoute from the novels right here? Which part do you doubt? Because I am willing and able to give you the exact pages and quotes. I promised myself not to get annoyed by this again.

If someone better at math wants to plug in the numbers/access to chatgpt wants to, cocytus freezing feat was freezing 57 lizardmen by projecting his aura in a 25 meter area, he had to restrict it not to freeze the entire village/hit the villagers farther back and he only activated it for an instant before disabling it (He also reduced it's damage to not kill the lizardmen cheifs as killing them all with his aura wouldn't give him a fight). The lizardmen on average are 6'3 and weight 220 pounds.

Cause he hates overlord and despite agreeing to let bygones be bygones anyone supporting/talking about feats from it desreves "Optimistic"

I think shalltear is between super sonic (Much faster then an undead cutting a hail of machine gun bullets out of the air) to hypersonic (The weird af qoute about her catching fire/exploding) so speed wise hes better then I remember but it seems like he's probably on par. His freeze while neat is rendered useless by shalltears immunity to cold damage as an undead. And this scales to cocytus freezing a stone section of wall and shattering it/freezing large sections of the city. Coycytus also flash froze several lizardmen though this insta killed them so Im not sure what the calcs would look like. (Decided to look up numbers he restricted his aura and only activated it for a second, this covered twenty five meters and flash froze fifty seven lizardmen, the average size of lizardmen is six foot three and 220 pounds) Ngl I find the idea of gaurgs being city district level rather strange. Especially based off cave shaking but thats me. Overlord high tier archers were known to snipe...

I played shadow of war/shadow of mordor, I don't remember anything that impressive that would let talion...Survive this. The only thing I can think of is possibly dominating her with the rings power but within the context of the games strong enough willed orcs can throw it off. Making me doubtful of it's ability to overcome shalltears innate resistances, especially if we assume this is her with a world item Like unless Im forgetting some truly stupendous feats I don't remember talion....Really having much for someone as bombastic as shalltear/high level overlord characters. (Im open to being proven wrong it's been a few years since I played, I literally just dont remember anything that huge) Saying that his immortality could be a problem, though at that point it kinda just becomes shalltear slapping him around every time he respawns until she gets lucky and cuts the ring off. (Talion to my memory pulls some crazy stuff but it's taking down fortresses/hordes of orcs, abusing...

I still remember a ainz vs voldermort reddit thread that ended with someone just pointing out the killing curse is basically a much worse version of ainz normal death spell. People are weird about harry potter

Fair enough, in the end I don't have a problem with king of time or anyone else tbh (as annoying as the optimistic thing was to me) Ill be clear I like overlord a lot (Its far from perfect and I perfectly understand why some people hate it), one of the main reasons Im still around here is to share relevant info from the series whenever it comes up/whenever I notice something bizarre from it (And eventually finish that respect thread). I can be a dick sometimes and I do apologize for that it is usually born out of frustration or exhaustion. Im not actively trying to upset anyone I just sometimes feel attacked for pointing information that is incorrect/sharing information from the novels.
