You know looking back at it Bakugou's fight with Afo is even worse. There's not even any good fight choreography....okay this is Hori so that's kinda a given but really Bakugou's just floating, essentially spamming Vegeta's technique tm. All while his opponent is not only not interested in fighting him but can't really fight if he wanted to because quirk rebellion or whatever bullshit Hori made to try and justify why Afo doesn't just kill everyone like he should. Nigga literally goes from having no fights, dying and quirk zenkai'ing himself to fight against someone who isn't even fighting him, and it still didn't really amount to much since he's still around :skully.

In both scripts they talk about how Axl hasn't met his alternate self yet so that would rule Raven out. Canonically he never got to see Asuka though until Xrd. Speaking of the old translation for Ff7. Figuring out the translations for Bizarro Sephiroth is actually Rebirth Sephiroth (hey wait a minute! :mjpls) made sense of certain things. I can sorta get why he changed it since you could either get Rebirth or Reverse because katakana shit and he probably just went fuck it but still.

Corneo is revealed to still be alive in compilation novels. Permanently stuck in a wheelchair but trying to help out after meteorfall Sorta a yes and no situation with that. You can't really translate his words per se because Japan (he switches from Watashi for his old voice. Which insinuates him being this old fashioned refined wise old guy who thinks highly of himself to Oire or something like that if I recall, which is extremely casual and youthful). It isn't just a dialect thing, his "voice" (text shit sorta I know) and demeanor changes completely to that of a teenager. It's supposed to be just as weird and off-putting as it sounds. It's one of those situations/nuances in translations that an equivalent exists or is close to it kinda but not really. Og ff7 is full of that sorta shit cause the one(literally one:mjlol) poor bastard they got to translate that game had to do all of this by himself. He is a bit more childish in og when the reveal happens but still. Doesn't help...

I do find that complaint people had about the Turks in Advent Children weird.
