Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

I don't care enough about Honkai to argue about it, but the dude got stuff wrong. Since when are Ultimate Ones stated to have magic resistance? That's an Earth concept, and the premise of UOs is that they play by their own alien rules (physics). They are just durable. There is also nothing suggesting Crimson Moon was inherently less resistant either. About the trees. That can easily be proven false on account of the fact Wodime was manipulating the stars to create magic circles in LB5. Something that was only stated to be possible because in the AoG the world itself was divided into layers (the Earth and the Sky/Cosmos were separate). That wouldn't possible unless the world of LB5 was at least galactic in scope, with the tree serving as the anchor (as stated by Limbo in LB4). The Types didn't destroy Earth because Gaia didn't ask them to destroy Earth, it merely asked them to wipe out all the lifeforms living atop it's corpse. It's established in Notes that Types (other than...

I really don't see how that's an issue because Arcueid's power is always adjusted to her opponent. Whether she is at 30% or as Archetype Earth. The old entry in the Tsuki mats says she can't kill Nrvnqsr due to him having 666 lives, which is the same issue she has with Gilgamesh. Arcueid at 30%...

Oh, yeah if you compare him to the likes of Quetz throwing the axe of Marduk, he falls short. He is more in line with more average Saint Graphs like the ones from FSN or Apocrypha. Since rank VI DA seem to be around that level based on Mash vs Noel/Roa. His Idea Blood aside, since that's pretty much the same thing as Fenrir's Authority based on the later's description.

The stat reduction is emphasized because Amaterasu becomes beatable only through that ability. The TMdict glossary had a better translation of that particular entry: Arcueid's backup is nerfed on the Moon Cell. And Amaterasu only becomes possible to defeat if she is reduced to 1/6 her power. So...

But she can get back up in the Moon Cell if she were to regain her sanity. It just so happens Original One in the Moon Cell has a time limit and a cap, whereas no such limit/cap exists on Earth. This is the entry from Fate/Extra mats: Gatou's misunderstanding is what caused her to go Berserker...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 4 Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Between Demonic and Phantasmal level. But Mash also stated Roa was a much more formidable opponent due to his mastery of magecraft, and Roa at that time was stated to be weaker than Noel in Lifescale. So it's a bit more nuanced. Ultimately I think DA of rank VI are at a level where they can compete with some Servants depending on their individual abilities and compatibility. Like, Noel kind of sucks; the only time Noel could somewhat fight Ciel was when she was relying on the fighting skills she learned when she trained with Ciel as a human. Vlov is a rank VI DA in basic specs but he is also a skilled knight from the midle ages, who wields a demonic lance carrying the conceptual ability of "shattering anything it comes into contact with". In addition to his Principle and basic vampire abilities. The only reason Ciel could fight Vlov was because she was wielding an armor capable of repelling outside interference. Despite that she was being worn down by Vlov's Principle and...

It's from her profile. And yeah, she can only be killed by acts motivated by love.

Tohno was seeing the eventual death of space before he could see any death on Arcueid. :skully And like, space itself doesn't die? At least not until you get into shit like heat death and blackholes. Ciel can get her soul vaporized and she will still revive from that. Yet she has a concept of death just fine. Arcueid isn't meant to have a fated end/concept of death during nighttime provided she is not weakened. The only time she did was during a moment when she was emotionally vulnerable.

They just cherrypicked the low ends. From TsukiR you also have: Lighting mode Roa moving at lighting speed. Arcueid's chains tagging Roa in his lighting mode, with the narrator explicitly stating you can't avoid them even moving at lighting speed. Arcueid flying past the clouds in an instant. Arcueid reacting to Calvaria Star, which is a near-instant city-spanning light reflector. You can see she jumped at least a block or whatever going by where she's firing her claw swipes to land right where Ciel was. Shiki catching Calvaria Star in order to use it against the Luminary. Shiki having time to use his gravity control spell from 200 meters away from his target while falling at FTL speed towards Arc's core (stated to be a speed that doesn't exist in reality, passing through "countless stars"). They also messed up the timeframe in the scene where Arcueid blitzed Ciel. Since it was mentioned it takes Ciel 0.2 seconds to nock an arrow, aim and fire. So "the span of a second it takes...

Bit late but I wanted to say I don't think Arcueid being unable to destroy Nrvnqsr and having a chance against Amaterasu are contradictory. The thing with classic Arcueid is that she gets a certain amount of backup above her opponent and no more. That's why she can't kill Nrvnqsr because he is...

Yeah, this bit here. That's referencing her emotional state, from Katatsuki Kouhon: My point is getting rid of whatever caused the Luminary phenomenon is part of the proper function of the Luminary. Hence why it's a 'retribution mechanism', something that's also stated earlier on. But you're right, it might be an Arc only thing, but there are also statements from the Church saying you shouldn't carelessly destroy a TA's body because there is the danger of them turning into a Luminary, and that's a problem: An overly emotional state and hanging around too long are also problems. There is no question the form isn't meant for fighting (especially prolonged periods). I think they are a bit less versatile than Marble Phantasm. Since Fae Domains reflect the 'user's own truth' or however they were described as, as opposed to 'anything you can imagine'. But yeah, they are somewhat equivalent.

Yeah. That was in reference to Arcueid playing around with Ciel and moving around in her Luminary state. However, it was also stated that up until the point where she began to move in her Luminary form she was still considered a planetary 'retribution mechanism', and only the act of turning into life by moving around was ever said to be detrimental to her. This means it would have been well within her rights to get rid of Ciel and Shiki right there, cancel her Luminary and wrap things up had it not being for her emotional state. Well I don't think it's the planet cutting them off directly as much as the fact that everything in the universe is subject to some rules. In this case that 'anything moving on it's own becomes a living being capable of death' as the above screenshot states. But yeah. You mean like Woodwose and Morgan? They are the only two noteworthy A-Rei. Woodwose I can see it, but Morgan died very quickly. It could be that there are individual differences between...

    TYPE-Moon/Nasuverse Feats/General Thread

I find it interesting how Nasu removed the restriction Arcueid had in those old Q&A sessions. Her backup works by her scanning the area and measuring her opponent's strength, including any weapon they might possess and then raising her level enough to annihilate her opponent based on her own individual judgement. She can even use her back up strategically, in case she believes the opponent is hiding a trump card she can raise her power even further. All this is part of her abilities as Ciel predicted, and her goal was to render her unconscious using an undetectable attack before destroying her with all the power she could muster. It's stated True Ancestors have no limits but curiously Arcueid couldn't do this thing where she connected with the planet like this in her own route to repair her damaged vessel. And I think it had to do with her weakened state, since it's also mentioned she couldn't use Marble Phantasm, which is analogous to synchronizing with the world, for this same...

I wonder how they'll handle the story. With Tsuki/Mahoyo and Fate being basically two different multiverses.
