Yeah, it's sadly one of the things that Digimon will always hold over Yu-Gi-Oh's head as a series. Or hell Pokemon as well. Still funny that two of the Signer Dragons who received NO powered up forms whatsoever, ended up banned and/or limited while the ones that DID received said powered up forms never did. Kind of makes you wonder what a Savior Rose Dragon or Ancient Fairy Dragon Assault Mode would have been like? Sadly, we'll probably never know.

I did watch a video of a guy talking about if the Trickstar player could have beaten Playmaker. His conclusion was...yes. :maybe Played a few trickstar players but I'm assuming they were using sub-optimal versions of the deck (or rather, they were sticking to what they saw in the anime) 'cause I actually beat them Yeah I need to get back into watching the series again because, If I actually watched Vrains it would probably get me more into the idea of playing these cards. As it stands though I just look at the Link Structure deck and scratch my head, trying to make heads or tails of it. Then again I'm pretty much the same way with Yuya's one, but at least there, the dimensional dragons and sorcerers look cool as fuck.

Yeah I saw that when I looked them up, I also found out they were used by a character in Vrains which I didn't know. The farthest I've watched in the anime is a good chunk of ZEXAL and the 1st episode of 2 of Arc-V. Yep, that was the one. And of course I was playing Blue Eyes so I had basically no answer to it, so I just surrendered once I realized how fucked I was.

No it fights them, can't be destroyed, player doesn't take damage and then destroys the special summoned monster and deals damage to the opponent based on their attack points. Uh I think it was a fusion, I thought I remembered it being named Marincest something but when I looked them up earlier, I couldn't find it.

Granted I can't talk, I had my own rage-quit earlier against this card (can't remember the name of it) couldn't be destroyed by battle or effect and negged special summoned monsters while dealing damage. I was like "WHAT THE FUCK" and noped out. But that's less an actual problem and more me just not being prepared for it because I'm a total noob.

I don't really have an issue with the Trunks x Mai stuff (not that I'm a fan of it either, I just don't have a problem with it), she was made younger by the dragon so yeah go for it. My issue with the Pilaf trio in modern Dragon Ball is more with why they're even there in the first place, being crow-barred back into the series, just for the sake of nostalgia and comic relief and not contributing really anything more than that.

Had a similar moment happen where the guy was playing the Red Eyes deck and he summoned Time Wizard. There I was with a full field and actually almost hoping he got Time Wizard's effect just for the nostalgia factor...only for nothing to happen because one of my monsters was Jet Dragon (the others were Dictator, Regular Blue Eyes and Alternative). Even I was confused for a second there. :kobeha

Yeah doing that at the minute, tried all three of the loaner decks but decided to stick with Blue Eyes because I had experience using it.

Which one, the Neos/Yubel fusion? Pretty sure it inflicts damage equal to the ATK of the monster it battles, similar to Flame Wingman but doesn't need to actually destroy them to inflict the damage.

Well at least he was humble about it. Oh I was playing Master Duel earlier and ran into someone using Altergeists, that shit was trolling me hard. Although I was using the Blue Eyes Loaner Deck for the Legendary event (trying to get some easy gems from it 'cause I'd blown mine and wanted to try and make something half decent/actually get into the game a bit) so I didn't stand much of a chance. Though I did get him down to 800lp before he beat me so at least I wasn't totally stomped. Empty Extra Decks, damn did the game really go on that long?

Why the fuck is there a timer on a match-up, that's some bullshit? I get there being a time limit on a person making their move but the game should go until it's over. It's not like Yu-Gi-Oh games ever last THAT long outside of specific stall based match-ups. Did the opponent at least acknowledge that you had him beat or did they act like they earned that? I certainly wouldn't want to win that way.
