Yeah it was always fucking annoying when I'd be looking for a fanfic to read on fimfiction, and there'd be nothing but a wall of "displaced stories" (basically the MLP fandom's version of Isekai stories). Especially since it wasn't even just putting an anime, game etc. character into Equestria, which would at least make sense as something they'd want to do. More often than not, it would be some random human motherfucker who gets turned into that character and THEN ends up in Equestria. Literal self-insert power fantasy crap.

Resident Evil 9: APOCALYPSE? Hopefully the title only refers to the game's plot having the THREAT of that happening and it doesn't actually go into a full-on apocalypse. That just isn't Resident Evil (not the games anyway) and would be too depressing. Wonder who the lead characters will end up being?

Love how literally the first fight in Seekers, is Tyrannomon (Adult/Champion) getting two-shotted by ModokiBetamon (Child/Rookie) and needing three Tyrannomon at once to capture it. :kobeha And if the level purists weren't already SEETHING at that, Loogamon (also a Child) makes those same Tyannomon cower in the corner while he's eating his meal. Trailer for chapter one of Digimon Seekers (it's coming out like 1-1, 1-2 etc, it's up to 1-8 now). All the chapters so far are on this channel (basically like an audiobook) though obviously it's Japanese only. You can also read it translated in English on the website https://digimon.net/digimonseekers/index.php Fair warning though that the translation really doesn't seem like the best. It seems like it's tool translated, with things being laid out or worded weirdly and occasionally chunks of it are missing (at least from what I'm hearing in the videos anyway). I do like all these Live Action trailers Digimon seems to do though, they're cool. :awesome

Anybody else noticed the dog/wolf shares the same name as the four-armed general of David in The Last Remnant? :maybe This guy? 'Cause that's kind of a cool reference. Like it's probably named after something else but this was the guy who sprung to mind when I heard the name.

Probably would still end up breaking the ice because she's that much more powerful than Mizore or some shit. Mizore and Kurumu simply weren't up to par with the vampire sisters even at the end of the series and Ikeda for whatever reason decided to just job them out to Akua and Kahlua, without even giving them a win against a Fairy Tale commander like Yukari and Ruby both got. It's one of those things he's definitely better about in Ghost Reaper Girl as every member of the main cast gets to contribute or have their big moments.

Kahlua would probably just change back to a solid and break Mizore's ice as fast as it forms. 🤔 But really the reason is just because he wanted Kokoa to beat her older sister.

Which didn't even make any sense because the whole reason Moka couldn't beat Kuyo was because she weakened herself by giving her blood to Tsukune. But then she just shrugs it off instantly when Tsukune turns back and gets the one-shot because fuck having our main character actually do something. Even when he's fighting anime Issa, he only gets the win because Moka distracts him at the last second. 🤦‍♂️ Don't even get me started on the lame ass Sirens, San would solo the whole anime verse with both hands tied behind her back, as a combatant and as a character.

Watched a Red vs Blue retrospective yesterday. For the most part it was pretty good, but he started saying shit that was just stupid. For example being surprised that Red vs Blue is so ANTI-WAR when Halo is the complete opposite? :breh Yes the series with the fucked up military led Spartan program kidnapping children to forcibly turn them into super-soldiers and where one of its games ends with your character abandoned and you forced to play until your character inevitably dies HORRIBLY. Fair enough on the Ron/Hermione thing but they still got the general gist across in the movies. At least as much as could reasonably be expected with a movie's run time anyway. Like I said, they weren't exactly terrible adaptations and they were largely well received all around. I just don't see that it's been long enough since the films came out (baring in mind the last one was only 12 years ago) to warrant doing them all again in series form, even if that does allow them to adapt the books more fully.

So apparently a new Harry Potter series has been green lit for HBO Max (or just Max as it's apparently going to be called soon). No cast information but says it's going to be a "faithful retelling of the books", I'll believe that when I see it though. Of course the big question would be WHY? It's not been THAT long since the movies came out and, though they left out a lot of details, it's not exactly like they were terrible adaptations for the most part and the movies were a big hit. Like I understand wanting to make a new series for something like Percy Jackson, where the movies were straight ass and barely bothered adapting the books at all but THIS is just a clear cash grab from what I can tell.
