Checked this the other day and I find a dude in the comments asking about MERLIN of all things...in an MLP/Bleach crossover. Daemon I know you're not an MLP fan or anything but what the hell does Merlin have to do with anything going on in this story? And of course when the author didn't acknowledge the question in his first response to him, he pressed the issue to make him address it. Which is a douche thing to do really, I mean I understand curiosity but if the question is irrelevant to the story, don't push the author to answer if he doesn't want to. I mean Starswirl the Bearded is kind of the Merlin equivalent in MLP though he hasn't appeared yet (it's looking very like he'll be appearing soon based on the way things are going), but Human/Soul Reaper Captain Starswirl has so ask about either version all you want. The premise being that the human world introduced in the Equestria Girls movies, is in fact a world of spirits akin to Bleach with the MLP characters assuming all the roles as Soul Reapers, Quincy and Hollows. Pros Though it does start out akin to the Bleach anime/manga (and one arc is very similar in terms of set-up and flow) it develops more and more into being its own story, the further in you go and that is when the story is at its best. The story is written such that you really don't need to have read or watched Bleach to understand it and follow along. You'd just miss a few in-jokes or nods and the occasional canon Bleach character who turns up might confuse you. It strikes a healthy balance IMO between having morally grey characters...
