So thanks to that little info sheet on Monday for Ghost Reaper Girl, we know we've seen all four Arkham Bullet Branch Directors here. So we know two of them. North = Ithaqua East/Far East = Nyarlathotep So I wonder which of the other two is which of the other branches? South = I'd almost be willing to bet on the black man that stood up to help restrain Nyarla, he has that South American look to me. West = Would therefore be the hooded individual that didn't get up at the end. Of course it could be completely the other way around, especially if the Black dude is just meant to be Spanish rather than South American, which would make him West Branch. It'll be interesting to see what territories each branch actually covers.

Nice, there's a lot of stuff like that can be easily missed in X-2 since nothing telegraphs the fact you're supposed to do them Like how you have to rest in the ship's cabin, or go to the deck of ship once every chapter to get an additional scene each in chapter 5 (which you need to get 100% completion in one playthrough). I guess because that's how FFX was and they were re-using a lot of the same areas from X in X-2. Most of the real work seemed to go into the battle system and the few new areas they had. By the way, did you talk to Brother on the airship? He gives you a dressphere if it's the HD remaster/International version.

The best main female I can think of (who isn't themselves the main character like Clare and Chloe and so inherently exempt from a lot of these issues as a result) is probably Aki Izayoi from Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds. That still counts as Shounen right? She was great for the first two seasons at least...until Crow showed up and completely stole her (and Rua's) thunder. But oh well, at least she got to be badass for the best seasons of 5Ds.

People actually think her running into explosions over and over again and ultimately getting no diffed, is a good fight much less the best fight in that arc? :hestonpls Yeah no, the only remotely decent fight in that arc is Deku vs Shouto and even that was nothing to write home about. MHA has dramatic moments but can't do a good fight to save its life.

Well with Nami it's a blatant gag, that's why I went for Kuro as it was the earliest, could be taken seriously, example of Luffy being harmed with nothing but pure blunt force. But the point stands that Luffy CAN be harmed that way, it isn't even an impassable hurdle in his own series, much less something that would remotely inconvenience most Marvel/DC characters. That's what got me into this hobby in the first place. Frankly if you NEED to ask the author then he/she hasn't done his job right. Although in this case the answer to his question is obvious because Vex has made an effort the entire story to keep all the main characters around the same sort of general level (or as close to it as he can realistically get at the time). So the answer is likely that they're about the same level.

On Hard Mode he has like 70 thousand health so the fight lasts a while. :maybe Yeah the Auto Life spell is overpowered, especially because it completely refills your hp and mp when you revive. I don't think they really thought that spell through very much, especially since you can cast Haste of the Elves on her and get it on everyone before the enemy has a chance to kill anybody. Yeah that's what I'm going to do when I play the game again. By comparison, the actual final battle with the Eye of Sauron was pretty easy, and this game didn't even have a superboss to justify that. Yeah but at least Morwen was an "original" character and not an already existing Tolkien character so it's not AS bad as the Shelob shit.

In fairness you're comparing Morwen's base outfit to Idrial's second armor set (though her base outfit was still less revealing than Morwen's). Morwen probably had some less revealing armor, albeit it's been so long that I can't remember.

I beat that game on Hard Mode (don't think I got 100% though, I think I missed like one side event or something), I can tell you that from my experience Hard Mode was no joke. My issue though came from trying to keep every character's stats all even across the board as opposed to focusing them on specific stats. End result being that by end game I was doing basically NO DAMAGE to anything, so beating anything was a grind. Frankly I barely payed attention to the actual plot of the game, it was fairly obviously just an excuse to have these characters follow the fellowship's path (or more specifically Aragorn and Gandalf's paths). I was more enamored with the fact I was having epic boss fights with shit like the Balrog. :awesome Well we got to have some fanservice man, come on. :maybe

TBF most Final Fantasy final bosses are easy at high levels. Probably because they put in the super bosses like the WEAPONS and such to be the true challenge in the end/post game

That crowd can go to hell. 😡 Imagine booing this man because he didn't want to hurt his opponent. For Christ's sake he was half-assing those punches and Dereck could still barely even defend himself. The whole last round the man barely throws a punch because he visibly doesn't have anything left. The referee shouldn't have needed to be asked to stop the fight. How dare Tyson show a little compassion and sportsmanship, he should have just put the man in the hospital or worse because this crowd wants a show. 😠

Holy Hell this is a great cover, bravo to these guys. 👏 This song is probably the best thing to come of the Pirates sequels, certainly one of the best scenes in At World's End. Which is kind of a bad thing in a sense, since the scene it comes from was the OPENING scene of a movie that was pretty much a dull slog until the battle at the end of it. :maybe But still, great scene, great song and great cover.
