Do we need a new Tiering System for Multiversal Characters and Beyond

Might be a leadership issue, I guess. We don't really have a chain of command to guide and help implement the changes. Maybe we should elect somebody reputable who wants to oversee this revamp? I always thought Nevermind was in charge but I think he only manages the wiki itself.

I agree with this sentiment. We can only try to accommodate for as much of fiction as we reasonably can. Its ultimately up to the debaters in vs threads to prove which character is stronger in a specific tiering range. I think dimensions have a place in all this but we need a more realistic approach. Or else we have people running around saying x character is infinitely superior to y character because x character has one extra dimension and yet hasn't done anything more impressive than y character. VSBW motto: "Just trust me bro"

This might be even harder haha. What is everybody's current opinions on levels of infinity? I kind of view it as based on the cosmic structure / time stream. Hence infinity on a Universal scale is an infinite space-time continuum. Infinity on a multiversal scale is an infinite amount of universes with an infinite amount of 5D/Void-space separating them. It goes up from there and so on. Just my thoughts.

We can avoid it just by putting the value in the justifications, so like Universe level+ (to an infinite degree, destroyed a universe stated be have infinite space)

I really think its just a matter of a concept of between either 5D space or 'void-space' for lack of a better term. Whatever may separate universes. When we consider somebody universal are we also saying they can destroy the entire history of that universe? Hence the space-time continuum? Or is that something else entirely? I've always assumed the aforementioned as true. Low Universe level might be good for destroying the matter + space but not the time of a single universe.

They need to be implicitly shown and stated to be vastly superior to the lower dimensions and the same with characters who have feats regarding them. Just because the number is greater doesn't automatically mean it should follow the VSBW constant that every dimension is infinitely superior to lower ones. Every fiction treats and interprets dimensions differently. I'm firmly against anything that takes VSBW's approach to dimensions. Include them but don't let them dictate everything.

That's the complicated part haha. Its either explained through higher dimensions or simply something greater than time and space as we know it. Everything past multiversal is theoretical anyway.

It would probably just be best quantified by the 'void' (for lack of a better term) that separates universes or groups of universes. Destroying one continuum of infinite space-time should be weaker than destroying two finite continuums because you're able to expand beyond the first one and effect greater cosmic structure in theory.

Kinda hope we keep Megaversal in some form. Always felt like a catchy term to me.
