https://comicvine.gamespot.com/profile/ct123/blog/player-turk-before-crisis-final-fantasy-vii-respec/155478/ https://www.fanverse.org/blogs/final-fantasy-respect-threads.37692/ In Before Crisis they destroy the setting’s strongest summon comparable to KotR with a Limit Break and eat a few of its strongest attacks + death throes explosion to the face. They also defeat the Jade WEAPON, a single WEAPON basically being equal to Zirconiade itself, which is comparable or stronger than KotR at full power. All before the start of the original FFVII, the Player Turk also still being weaker and slower than Rude and Reno respectively. They like to ignore the well of evidence that exists that contradicts their head canon. Square has had literal decades to call it an illusion, all they continue to do is tell us it effects a star system and does damage across dimensions.

He shouldn't need the remake for that He's a peer to Nanaya and Nanaya in Melty Blood is definitely able to slit Kirishima Kouma's throat. Kouma's someone able to fight and defeat Servants with "average" NP. Has a few durability and strength feats in both the Melty Blood manga and game too IIRC, been a minute though. Definitely know he ate attacks from Ciel's 7th Scripture in Tsukihime partially transformed too.

Of course the Nevermore feat is superior, she drags it up a cliff and dislodged a fuckton of cliff side rock in the process A creature that can comfortably fly through a large rocky ruin and destroy it with no loss of momentum on its part

The strength feat is not losing her grip on the scythe or something while all that is going on or the like Not that its all that amazing a strength feat, but its the same idea as Spiderman catching a ride on a shuttle moving orbital velocity and not having his arms ripped off when his body experiences the new momentum like I did ages ago from the Amazing Spider-Man Issue 1 from 1963.

Meant more you could figure out >Time frame = Yusuke falling X distance over Y speed > Speed of mountain expansion = Debris movement divided by time frame Then just basic half the mass multiplied by velocity squared for kinetic energy.

I just want to know if it was really possible to miss how I derived a time frame if they read the blog :skully You, who profess to being so deficient in the ways of math, this isn’t some arcane logic puzzle to parse right? :maybe

It’s like, the older I get it just feels like I’m wasting my time even more than I thought I was already if something this simple isn’t being properly understood :hm

Also hilarious given the Lifestream is basically a less thoroughly explained version of Nasu’s Counter Force that’s able to act in defense of the Planet and defend it in conjunction with Holy. Which further explains why he needed Meteor to cause such a wound when Supernova is supposedly over the top.

Any rate, imma fuck off to almost no life Elden Ring because what else should I be doing when my left eye is still useless flesh and my friends and shit are at work :maybe Might as well enjoy myself before I'm thrown into hell for 5 years 5 months from now because I'm going to be a Clinician thereafter

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 1: OBD 2027 prologue edition

Because you say so, got it Connect the dots is how you establish who powerscales to what feats. Collateral or not is irrelevant. Cell in Dragon Ball is emphatically beyond Freeza, but literally every feat in the arcs between Freeza coring Namek and the start of the fight with Majin Buu are gutter trash compared to even our pithy modern nukes. Going by your logic, because of the lack of collateral between arcs, the characters are emphatically weaker than their feats from the previous arc. Expository statements about raw power, even those taken about Amaterasu being as powerful as the Sun, are taken with a grain of salt compared to the power exhibited by those in a given tier and how they compare to one another in combat. She's comparable to Goetia, who even at baseline from Solomon's Corpse, generates a small galaxy sized model of the universe and developed a NP on the level of a Supernova. Amaterasu is vastly beyond something as pithy as the power the sun brings to bear every...

Think he's an old head from Beast's Lair or something? Dunno In general, most people that stick to their niche struggle to discuss inter-series bullshit because they fail to standardize their criteria By standardizing shit, the picture of many franchises starts to look fucking silly. Like, the Saiyans being a race of planet killers sounds fucking stupid, but that's apparently just how they exist and they somehow avoided reducing their home to space debris long enough for the evil alien real estate agent to do it for them for the lazy space god cat

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 1: OBD 2027 prologue edition

You're kind of ignoring what I said. You can call the top of the heap an outlier, it just defaults to the next feat down the list they exhibit if that's your criteria for usage. Also, only feats in Dragon Ball of any note from the manga pre-Super were Roshi and Raditz-Piccolo Nuking the moon, Frieza nuking Planet Vegeta in the backstory off panel, Freeza coring Namek, and Kid Buu nuking Earth hundreds of chapters later. I understand most people aren't familiar with the manga over the anime, but the pre-Super canon has just as much garbage for feats in terms of quantity as any franchise out there. Why not? Gaps between the tiers are a poorly kept illusion at best in the franchise (most franchises really) anyway. This has been an issue since FSN and FHA, it hasn't gone away. Why would you asume that when his entire schtick is he's a composite of 666 lives made of discount Chaos Tide? That's not HP, that's just having a bunch of stored regenerating 1Up Mushrooms. I'm not...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 1: OBD 2027 prologue edition

Welcome to the Dragon Ball problem This isn’t a unique issue. It pops up in this hobby all the time. Singular feats define the power of a verse. Doesn’t matter the scale, can even call such and such an outlier, just means the next stand out feat takes its place in the vending machine instead.

Not directly by name, but by characteristic of how he fights. Nvrnqsr Chaos’ whole literal shtick is quantity. Or did you just never notice that? It’s an old quote, so it’s easy to miss.

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 1: OBD 2027 prologue edition

??? And how long do you figure a cool down for a full powered shot would be then? Weeks? Months? Years? Decades? Anything less than years and you're basically pissing into the wind here dude. At the order of magnitude required to end a planet, you're still talking a comically large amount of power being brought to bear. A year of charging only means a difference of power on the order of 2,120 times more power than would be afforded for a shot that requires a cool down of 3 hours. That's still enough power to nuke the moon :maybe You're arguing from a losing position when you don't even bother to comprehend the sheer scope of power required to mass scatter a celestial object whole sale. Linear power over a finite small amount of time just doesn't cut it in terms of cutting into how much of it can be brought to bear and how long is required to bleed off the excess heat caused by a previous shot. And that's only an interpretation relative to just wholly being about not overheating...

Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 1: OBD 2027 prologue edition

Its my general assumption most series with any form of combat possess at least some nominally superhuman shit Hell, Angel no Densetsu is a gag manga about overreacting to a scary/ugly kid and they have feats of throwing people several meters into and through the air and snapping a tree in half

That's what I was able to find specifically for it. He can only use a spell of this caliber 4 times a day too? Would have thought he'd have more MP than that. :hm
