Omnislash hasn't even reared its head yet lore wise, what you talking about? :maybe Climhazzard/Ascension was Cloud's peak in Midgar, looking like Finishing Touch is Cloud's peak circa Temple of the Ancients. Omega Weiss is just a power up akin to a final Limit Break given that's effectively how Chaos is treated. We know Chaos Vincent isn't some major game changer, he was Chaos in the final battle with Hojo and he still nodded to Cloud in ACC. DoC guidebook also refers to Cloud as the strongest for that point in the time line IIRC. Chaos Vincent is vaguely WEAPON+ as is Omega in general. Doesn't make them able to match Omnislash or better.

When is Weiss stronger than Zack? Especially now that he fought Sephiroth Reborn about as well as a Cloud that was already a coin toss vs Weiss in Midgar per Nomura.

Nice to see that Titan got similar expanded lore like Shiva did in Remake. Creating a continent with the power of his earthquake or some shit. Also just further supports Ifrit's own lore first mentioned globally back in Dissidia Nothing stand out, basically bit feats, but its cool to see the consistent scale :hm

Turks fought a WEAPON too, they're collectively nothing special compared to the party or named SOLDIER 1sts Reno and Rude are individually the standout Turks in speed and strength, and they got their shit pushed in from the start The party not named Cloud, Zack, or Chaos Vincent are all vaguely strong enough to be able to put up a fight against Nero even as far back as Midgar because that's what Yuffie did in Integrade. He was clearly going to win, but he was forced to try and even went so far as sneak attack Sonon and Yuffie when they thought they had won.

Still a thing, dunno how early into his journey he is though. w/o Genji seems to be treated like his base where as w/Genji appears to be treated as his full power? I've kind of given up with understanding how many arms he's supposed to have. Like, he references his transformation and everything with the Genji Armor, but he never increased or decreased his number of arms. Seems like he considers, at least here, his Genji equipment more important for his power shrugs

Don't have time to play the game right now, and spoilers are a given with this bull shit so I just figured to watch the ending for the hell of it Story can be a mess, but it was pretty cool to see Cloud and Zack fight in tandem. :hm Seems like the final battle treats Zack and Cloud as roughly equal, which makes sense tbh. Seemed like Zack got the benefit of Aerith's powers without her manifesting some kind of body while Cloud got her to fight in person in some way that won't be explained for another few years~ Also, Gilgamesh. I know he's been implied to have visited FFVII before (Dissidia and XIII-2 being where it was spelled out respectively IIRC), but seeing it now is fun and the "Battle at the Big Bridge" OST is always fun :maybe
