One Piece Tier/Feat/Canon/Toei Discussion Thread Part 3: Road to star level

The problem with them being indebted to Buggy for whatever reason would be the fact that they're aware he's a fraud. I could see Mihawk reluctantly paying it back and being a man of honour. In Croc's case, and considering the circumstances? Not likely. Not that I really like the excuse for Buggy and the actual circumstances.

At this point it's blatantly clear Oda HATES Sanji. I wonder what the fuck happened that the bounties ended up like this.

The cliffhanger sounds fucking lame for a break chapter.

Anime's becoming quite popular in Israel as well. The JJK movie ran for much longer than they planned on running it. They also screened a Fate movie last October, iirc, and that shitty MHA movie. Unfortunately, no news of OP Red as of yet. Less than ten years ago this would have been unheard of. I think there was a Yugioh movie screened years back when I was like 6 but nothing else.

Whatever gripes I might have with the conclusion of this arc and Yamato's existence, tears were shed during this chapter. I've been religiously reading OP for the past 7 and almost half years(I watched the anime for a few years prior to that), Wano's been over half of this experience, but not only that -- Momo and Kin'emon, the alliance with Law, they've been there for more. I remember walking home from school with my friend constantly discussing it among other animes and mangas, but mostly One Piece. I still vividly remember the day he told me about the crew reaching Dressrosa in the manga, finding out about Doflamingo's DF for the first time...One Piece has helped me go through a lot. I automatically associate it with some of the best times of my life(as of yet). This is the truly an end of an era, and hopefully the beginning of something amazing, even if this the final step. I can't imagine what will happen when One Piece actually ends. But I'll save some words for that day.

Yeah, Luffy's KKG being stuck at barely city level has always perplexed me.

Fucking hilarious seeing Luffy's profile: "City level+ (destroyed a large portion of Noah, completely overpowered Doflamingo's God Thread with King Kong Gun and is easily comparable to Ace), at least island level+, likely far higher in Gear Fourth" :lul

Also, just to add a bit to the laser beam thing -- I just noticed that one Kizaru uses his beams they never seem to absorb light from the surroundings except for maybe one instances, albeit, said instance looks like it's on practically tiny scale: I'm probably overthinking it, but I think that the "light absorption" visible when tech is used to create these beams seems more emphasized for a reason. Just figured I'll share a few things that came to my mind.

I'm talking about how it could make sense within the context of the Databook and make case for FTL One Piece even if taking the databook into account. Sorry If I wasn't clear.

I gave Kizaru's vivre card some thought and noticed that we've probably misinterpreted it: On both available translations(Artur's and the initial one from Arlongpark or WG[?])they mention only proficient Haki users can "grasp his movements" or "capable of spotting" him. Obviously, as we've already know, being capable of seeing the future alone doesn't simply make you faster. BUT - the way it seems to be worded in Kizaru's vivre card makes me think that CoO genuinely improves one's ability to perceive speed and as a result improves/allows one to improve their physical reactions. This makes sense because there's probably a very limited number of people capable of reaching a level where they could tango with Kizaru, and they're the very(very :maybe)strongest. Also, something interesting I noticed: Note the way he charges his beam -- it looks like he's absorbing light from his surroundings. And I just noticed how most of the laser beams in the series behave the same way.

So, we're not going to see much of her other than potentially the final war or more probable if BB goes there to put his hands on Pluton. I know this sucks for you because you like Yamato. So I'm not gonna gloat about it out of respect. BUT -- I will say I am going to indulge in seeing Rogerbase bawling, assuming these spoilers are not a prank. Just because of his "HAHA I TOLD YOU I KNOW THE BEST" attitude combined with him jumping the gun solely based on 1056's ending.

One Piece Tier/Feat/Canon/Toei Discussion Thread Part 3: Road to star level

Oden's will and practically final wish was opening Wano's borders and subsequently unleashing Pluton. Yamato's DF is pretty much Wano's guardian diety as well. The Straw Hats have more than enough members and Yamato would further make it feel bloated. Not to mention that he wish to explore the seas and set sail would probably receive an incredibly underwhelming resolution considering the fact that we're already at the end of the story and there's hardly more time for more fun adventures like early on in the story, they've already gone through all the key islands that slowly helped piece the bigger picture, she's missed out on a big chunk of Oden's adventure. It's going to run through the core of the story to the every end from this point onward. That...and we've already seen Oda struggling to give all the Straw Hats a proper role during the Onigashima raid. We definitely don't need another member, especially someone as powerful as Yamato to take up spotlight from OGs that...

Yes. Question is - could they possibly see through the illusion their trapped in and figure it out? It's too bold to assume this type of interaction between two completely different power systems. But, if in the movie someone manages to break out of Uta's world/shows thr ability to communicate through it via Haki, I see no reason why the same wouldn't apply to shit like Tsukuyomi.

I have this feeling they both gonna join, which would be incredibly fucking frustrating and would automatically make that chapter a 5/10, assuming the rest is actually good.

What about them? Are they reliable? Also, Oden wanted to open Wano in the literal sense of the word and probably unleashing Pluton. Maybe BY unleashing Pluton? If Yamato becomes/became aware of it, shouldn't this be her primary goal atm?

So, Yassop can basically transport his consciousness into Uta's world. He can literally control it. He SHOULD be able to break out of genjutsu rather easily, then. The only problem is to figure out he's in one, and that shouldn't be a problem.
