As I said earlier, it lets people steer night actions (intentionally or unintentionally) without the target being able to argue why they shouldn’t, which is against the spirit of closing the game during night

I’m largely fine with it being host discretion, I’d just hope that hosts can see why it’s bad You take away the right of the accused to defend themselves. I know that’s not a rule enshrined in the game, but it’s a central tenet of a game based on accusation

Yes, they allow you to communicate with other players during periods of the game where there is no communication. People know this and abuse it anyway, and it ends this game.
