Honestly there are a lot of games I haven't played and wish I had a long time ago. But of the things I have played, I'll phrase it like this: Pokemon (the first two gens) was absolutely a product of my childhood, and just the sheer impact of it all in it's early years kinda goes without saying. My late teen years is a time where I really discovered youtube, let's play, and a little game people were emulating called MOTHER 3. This also came around a time in my life where a very important person in my life passed on, and well let's just say the game spoke to me on that level. And in my adult years is when I started discovering the more obscure Japanese RPG-maker horror games. And one that stuck out to me was Mogeko Castle. One that, at times is almost parodical to those horror tropes themselves with how over the top it can be. And yet at the same time it managed to still be disturbing on it's own.
