I blame media like big movies almost always portraying Knights getting skewered too many times on pikes or Spearmen because the protagonists are the "underdogs" who need to beat the heavy cavalry and almost never showing just how devastating Knight Charges were as those few examples were rare for a reason. Would not use the Winged Hussers exactly since they are more an evolution of the Knight but you can look at the Battle of Muret as another example of how an army composed almost entirely of Knights and Cavalry could destroy an army with both Infantry and Cavalry on it's own to show how devastating their charges can be. Just shitheads looking for clicks really.

Yeah I was and like I said, Adult Gohan gave a better fight against Broly than anyone else in the first, especially when you take into account that unlike Goku who could do nothing but be Broly's punching bag until everyone including Vegeta gave their Power, Gohan in SS2 was able to actually over power and force his way out of Broly's grip and break free.

I do agree that Gohan gave a much better fight in the 2nd Broly movie than anyone did in the first, Goku included. Where he had to strike at a weak spot like where Broly got stabbed as a baby to harm him Gohan in SS2 could actually trade some blows against LSS Broly to the point he was actually feeling them instead of just tanking them like normal.

I am not talking about the 2nd movie, I am talking about the first where Gohan is much weaker than almost any other Saiyan when he was shown to keep up with Cell better than anyone else besides Goku even before he became SS2. Vegeta being so much stronger than everyone else to the point of his power up instantly putting Goku on par with Broly makes no sense when he was not even able to beat a Cell Jr on his own while Goku and Gohan were the only ones to make suppressed Perfect Cell have to try. He kinda got instantly one shotted, not really much of a "dance" if you ask me. I know it's just bullshit that Vegeta should be stronger than everyone else combined besides Goku when he was shown to be far weaker than both SS1 Goku and Gohan in the Cell games. And even if we are talking "Toei canon" the Cell Games still happen there.

Gohan doing so poorly in the Broly film and being so much weaker than Vegeta is bullshit when at this time the film takes place in he was in base SS form stronger than almost everyone else besides Goku.

I always thought Gohan looked his coolest in SS2 with the Green Sayain Man outfit on him in the early Buu Saga. Wish he kept that look.
