My Hollow Knight Wanderer's Journal came today. In-game, this book is written by a fictional author Ellina the Chronicler, about her journey, perspective and details of the Kingdom of Hallownest at the same time as the Knight's journey. Basically a novel of her adventures with countless images and descriptions of various characters, enemies, items, environment, locations, etc. Ellina never meets or crosses paths with the Knight in person, they always seem to miss each other, but she has heard about them. This book is apparently canon.
