Any kind of hormone therapy is incredibly risky. Giving males testosterone for example can sterilize them and cause hypergonadism. Diabetes is what I would imagine is the biggest risk in HRT for trans people. Followed by exacerbating their mental problems due to fundamentally screwing with their brain chemistry. And this is ignoring something like 90% of kids who get transitioned destransition then accuse their mothers of having Munchausens by Proxy or doing it for exploitative reasons or saying they did it to escape abuse. So I wonder how "successful" it is at achieving those ends.
