He didn't beat Afo but his prominence burn did so much damage to him that he has to rewind his body presumably back to its prime just to survive. We previously got to see Endeavor use his power in creative ways. He didn't use his strongest technique supported by shit loads of gear to power himself up after Horikoshi's hype at the very beginning only for his attack to essentially get no sold while he got injured immediately :mjlol . Endeavor's fight literally had people questioning why he isn't the main character these aren't similar at all:skully. The first villain fight Bakugou has and he does nothing, give Endeavor his props, he loses sometimes but at least he wins some of his fights.

I've been calling Izuku's last quirk the mystery mousekaquirk for a reason man. They're not even trying to hide that it'll bail Izuku out through bullshit :skully . I remember when people tried to get on to me about how the 6 quirks of pain will be weak because Bakugou said so despite the fact that Ofa is powering up these quirks (which aren't even weak really) making Bakugou's comment completely irrelevant and look what happened :mjlol. Horikoshi's sitting here trying to keep this new shit a mystery to hype up plot convenient bullshit. And punching harder will definitely save the day, that's all this series really knows how to do:kobeha. Unfortunately it never really works well with Izuku especially now. I'll excuse All Might and Endeavor any day though. Endeavor's fight with Afo reminded me of the hype his previous fights had. I think I've only cared about Izuku vs Shoto (which isn't high stakes) and maybe Izuku vs Muscular and that's it. It actually felt as if he had to...

They've straight up had to make up bullshit to even justify putting him down. Sns nerfing Ashyraki.....to no real effect mind you but in Horikoshi's mind he was nerfed don't you worry (which I fucking called btw :mjlol). To Izuku's mystery mousekaquirk, to a class Npc member (Jiro I think) dropping a mixtape so hot that the Vestiges in Afo's quirk mindscape thing felt hope for the first time and are rebelling holding Afo back for a while. Guess All Might literally decapitating the dudes head and shattering his empire wasn't enough to feel any hope I guess, would've been nice, All Might wouldn't have nearly most of his body yanked out but just ignore that. Probably, Nardo is one of the best stories he's ever seen according to him:mjlol.

The funny thing is Bakugou fans may as well pack their damn bags. Series is going to end so it'll never be better than this for him :mjlol . Izuku's sidepiece is what he is and always will be and Afo will always have more respect for Chadchi, an npc who grew to power despite the circumstances than Bakugou, the supposed prodigy who does jack shit :kobeha. Accept Koichi supremacy Izuku/ Bakugou stans you know it's all true :mjlol.

It wouldn't even be so bad if there was a scene or something where Bakugou just straight up admits that he couldn't catch up. Maybe have it that he's proud of what he's accomplished or have him be a "rival" in the sense that Izuku's strength makes him want to continue to get strong and go past his limits. Something that could have easily been done without giving the best power ever 6 other powers that make most of the cast entirely worthless in even their specialities but I digress. We don't really get that so it just turns to Bakugou talking about how he isn't going to stay behind or hyping himself up only to do nothing but be Izuku's sidekick.

In case it wasn't obvious Bakugou got cucked something fierce :skully . It's like watching Buu saga Vegeta without any of the self awareness and reflection from Vegeta (in this case Bakugou) about how his rival reaches greater heights.
