Cause he's not. He's a mirror to the mc. Their lives near parralel each others even eventually falling for the same woman which is where the main drama comes from. The main difference between the two was the philosphy they lived their lives by with Vicious wanting more power and Spike wanting to be left alone. That isnt to say his characterization is "deep" but it doesnt need to be. He works perfectly as a foil for Spike. Vincent on the other hand was a man that lost sight of himself and wanted to watch the world burn. He didnt really have a connection to anyone else in the story outside of trying to pick up Faye. I dont think either were bad but I wouldnt pick Vincent over Vicious

lol lmao even When it first came out it released with a lot of 2nd tier characters nobody really gave a fuck about and gameplay was slow. Then theres the fact that the block button pmuch negated any real mixups in the game which made characters like Lancelot mostly useless against anyone that remembered to hold it. So people gravitated more toward characters that made it hard to approach like Percival/Ferry. Ferry being fucking retarded because you gave a character with really good normals and really good keepaway a FUCKING DP. So you didn't even get rewarded for walking down a Ferry (:maybe) because she always had the option to just DP and now you're back to square one. Haven't really kept up with the new game though but they've apparently overhauled the system
