Most of the time youre fighting people who are complacent where they are and arent trying to get better or people who just want to fuck around and play with friends. Ranked itself isnt a good measure of skill either but its filled with people that want 5o get better at the game or just cheese you to death for points. Either way playing these types of people forces you to have to get better because you have to adapt and theyll usually try and do the same. If your new to fighting games this process takes a long ass time and youre gonna get your ass handed to you a lot.If you wanna get better though you have to be willing to eat the punches and most people aren't which is why most people dont stick to fgs much

Yeah Reina is just like Heihachi and Lidia. Her kits designed around frustrating you with her mix ups until you get impatient and die for it. FF2 is a really good move to combine with her electrics and it makes approaching her feel like you're playing dodge ball against a 12 gauge. At the end of the day though her kit is balanced out by having really ass lows so she ends up feeling pretty fair (not bias at all no :maybe). Victor is dumb because he has really good neutral skip tools and his grabs require you to tech 10 frames faster than normal grabs which is insane. Then because throws now have counter hit properties some of his grab tech windows get as low as 7 frames which is nuts. Azu though? She's got good reach,pokes,lows,grabs annoying af mix and she loves to get counter hits which is made easier because she's safe on most shit. Running 3,2 is also fucking cancer cause its super plus, does chip and is hard to step and sets her up to score counter hits once you get tired of...
