I pretty much declared Strive Non-Canon at this point and it's not even due to Bridget, the horrific destruction of the lore to make Happy Chaos responsible for everything to Dizzy being the new Queen due to Ky just abdicating the Throne and no one bringing up that they was together in secret and Sol Badguy not even being a full human but still having some Gear attributes because fuck actually trying to have stakes was more than enough for me to be done. This stupid change that actually makes the backstory justified and basically killed the character is enough for me to pretend Strive doesn't even exist. I haven't even done that shit with SFV so congrats Daisuke, you did it. I actually 300% believe that Blaz-fucking-blue was handled better than Guilty Gear and that had a literal MTF character in that by Mai Natsume.

Like what the fuck WAS Piccolo's genius move at the end of the day if he got Goku to go bail Gohan out? Goku fucking dies, everyone ends up demoralized and Cell would become a terror across the Universe? Like actually think about that and realize that Piccolo didn't have an answer to any of that shit and nearly fucked them all over with his emotional rant. This is even more hilarious as mentioned beforehand, Piccolo ultimately told Pan to get herself captured just so Gohan can basically get back "to his normal self" and yes, even if he was right there, that was still extremely fucked up because we have no clue that Beta and Gamma wasn't monsters or they didn't have something just as strong that isn't Cell Max that COULD hurt Pan. Piccolo pulled a gambit even more fucked up than what Goku did with Gohan and Cell just so Gohan can go back to Ultimate Form(which apparently didn't even take much, the fucker literally went back to Super Saiyan just by Pan being "kidnapped" and then...

Again, it's like Adamant said earlier, Piccolo wasn't thinking logically, Goku actually WAS thinking logically. The only fail Goku made was not realizing Gohan wasn't a Blood Knight like he himself is... which actually makes sense when Goku barely known that Gohan has to take ALOT to get angry to even go into those extreme bouts of fury and fighting people like mad, Goku thought it was a simple switch and boom, Gohan is beating peoples' asses. And yes, Goku really didn't do shit to Cell and Cell would have killed him after that and demoralized fucking everyone, especially Gohan who didn't even believe he was stronger than Goku(which also shows how deluded Gohan was at that point to believe Goku,, his pops, is just that damn strong from sheer respect) and even THEN, it ignores that Gohan ultimately went through with it and was forcefully NOT trying to get angry on purpose, even warning Cell to not make him angry. So yes, there is ALOT of context people miss when it comes to Goku...

Ignore that Piccolo "training" Gohan at first was literally threatening him to stop crying or he'll kill him, virtually abandon him outside of feeding him a few times and stopping him from rampaging as an Oozaru. Yeah, Piccolo got better but a better dad than Goku? It's like people miss that outside of TWO TIMES, Gohan has never shown any real anger towards Goku and both of those times was Goku coming off like he was doing something horrific(Leaving Piccolo to die against Cell so they can get stronger to fight him and seemingly causing the Tournament of Power) vs. how extremely icy their first meeting was and how it still wasn't really fixed until after Piccolo sacrificed himself for Gohan(Remember, he literally not only shat on Gohan for not following through on a combination attack on Nappa, he explicitly wanted Gohan to feel absolutely fucked over it.)

@Claudio Swiss Honestly, this is the best point made because remember, Zato was supposed to be DEAD for the past 2-3 games... only to suddenly be stated he was NEVER dead despite in those same 2-3 games, his body was stated to be literally DECAYING. Or how about That Guy = Happy Chaos = The Original all along rather than That Man = Asuka R. Kreutz? The hilarious part is that it's real easy to ignore the series after Xrd Revelator because it's clearly obvious Daisuke is even more done with Guilty Gear than Mori is with Blazblue. Especially as how everything is virtually happy ever after without it even feeling the slightest bit earned(Ky is becoming Half-Gear? Just abdicate the throne and allow Dizzy to be Queen... even though no one even bothers to question that even if she was loved after the shit she did in Revelator, the messed up lie Ky did? The funny part is that they don't even need permission to do that. For all of the shit people toss at Bridget due to the shit in Strive, apparently the Japanese don't care and still consider him a trap... and so are most Western fans. The only ones continuing to keep up the lie isn't even the Localization Team or anything but the insanely stupid "Transtrenders" that don't realize that Bridget's very backstory is anemic to what they want to normalize it by.

It really is sad how much the tactic is used when there really are so many alternatives writers can use but refuse to actually look into Marvel's library to ever use them... It's basically he ran away from the shit he pulled when GoW3 literally ended with him killing himself to give hope to Mankind as he realized he will ALWAYS end up destroying what he's at due to his insatiable rage and anger clouding his judgment and rational thinking. So by doing this shit all over again, it really shows that people don't have any idea at all of how Kratos even was in the past GoW games and trying to redeem him never works because Kratos at his core is NEVER supposed to be redeemed, just killed and put out of his misery for the sake of everyone else.

To be frank, I don't like 2018 Kratos either as I feel they basically are trying to do a really, REALLY stupid redemption story for a person who has way too much blood on his hands and basically ran away from the shit he pulled. If it was after the original God of War? I can buy it. But after God of War 3? When he finally realized how he truly fucked up Greece and it's entire World by proxy? Why the fuck would he run away after that shit? Why would ANY Pantheon allow him to get anywhere near their's at all?
