Honest to god, that scene with Ichigo looking at Yhwach with pure unadulterated fury for that one instant surpasses the worst anger Yusuke Urameshi can ever do as well as quite a few other Shonen protagonists. Straight up went Guts level.

That entire episode is honest to god KINO, especially since you didn't include the 13 Divisions flashback where we actually SEE them fight the Vandenreich in the past and Sasakibe helped defeat Yhwach with Yamamoto and they are as brutal as Yhwach proclaimed them to be. Like they made the 1st Invasion so fucking awesome, the real work is making the 2nd Invasion just as good which is where the real work needs to begin.

On one hand, Ninja Gaiden does need a fresh slate after the bad combo of Ninja Gaiden 3(Even when Razor's Edge tried to save it) and Yaiba! but on the other hand, Dead or Alive didn't really need one. The story of 6 wasn't the best, yeah, but a total reboot? I'm not sure how you can retell the first game's story well without going the full retarded Dimensions-territory and systematically make Kasumi, Hayate and Ayane nobodies compared to Ryu Hayabusa again... I would laugh if the reason for the reboot is to actually make Hayate be an equal to Ryu as was planned beforehand.
