Not to take away from Nico (he did have some pretty good showings against Andy in their fight) but I doubt the battle against UMA Language in the past loop was a physical one. She was just about to say in the current chapter they’d face off in the ultimate “game”. And given how Unforget was essential to beating her the previous time I’d assume it was some kind of trivia/knowledge check.

Union's getting access to not just some of the Soul stuff we got a preview for with Andy (Fuuko now making a Soul Unluck Bullet and being able to see UMA Beast making soul chains to control animals). But they can on some Avatar State shit connect with the past users of their Negation abilities and strengthen their own negation as a result. This allowed Haruka to make an Unbreakable robe for Top to use that was greater than even UMA Beast's copied Unbreakable armor (even though Beast's copied unbreakable was earlier a perfect match for Haruka's because by "eating" a piece of her he also retained the memories/experience to use the ability properly that even Billy's Unfair couldn't copy).

I think she’s just farther in the background while the soul bullet is in the foreground. So it looks like it’s covering her while it really isn’t.

Some predictions

Love the trippy visuals and blink and you miss it nods to different events and characters. Also just great finally seeing the music together with the visuals after only getting to hear the opening last week. I get the impression from this that the first cour will end with the Unrepair Arc and we'll get a 2nd opening for the second half. Really chill vibes, does a great job hinting at the connections between Andy and Juiz. Since in a way, he wouldn't exist without her.

Same. Unfortunately I've been hearing online that it only got released on Hulu in the US today. And I really hope that's just a mistake and it will still release in Europe, Canada, Latin America, etc... on Disney +. But we'll just have to wait and see -_-

I watched the first episode. And I could not be happier :lit David Productions have done absolute justice to the manga. Even somewhat toned down the skeevier bits to make it easier for people to understand it was comedic, I think. It just worked perfectly.

To be fair. Given how it's explained that master rules will "never disappear". I'm assuming the concepts they embody will still exist even after their physical form is defeated/destroyed.

It seems like the Master Rules are gonna be the main villain group at this stage of the story. Maybe Death being the most powerful one, above even Uma Galaxy somehow? I just definitely get that vibe, given how much Uma Sick's introduction was built up (with them still likely being the weakest of the 10 master rules).

So it was confirmed that among the UMAs there are 10 "Master Rules" for a loop. The Current Quest target is one of these Master Rules, Uma Sick. And it was also confirmed that UMA Galaxy which was added last loop, is one of the current 10 Master Rules. Meaning it's likely gonna be a future quest target :lul

Tier list for this is hard in the same way as a Jojo tier list is hard considering most characters use hax abilities rather than pure DC/Durability. But I’ll try to do a rough one and exclude some characters I find harder to place. God tier: God Demi-God Tier: Uma Galaxy Top Tier: Uma Spring (perhaps not having as much pure power but more difficult to defeat than Summer or Winter especially in a 1v1 since it negates attacks, can transmute massive swathes of people into Cherry Trees in its final form, and has an artifact that gives it luck manipulation that could turn a nuke into a dud). Uma Summer Uma Winter (Since either on their own had the energy to turn the planet into a ball of flames or a ball of ice). Uma Autumn (weakest of the season UMAs but still took a big team effort to defeat and has their own form of transmutation Hax with the ability to turn people into books).
