Bedlam Spirits (Star Wars) vs Q Continuum (Star Trek)

@SupremeZaarin and the rest of that list’s rankings?

Also keeping this Bedlam Spirits regardless. Seems like an even match with similair feats
Here's what I consider to be the top five, IIRC.

1. Father of Lights
2. Nakhash/Anakin Skywalker championed by the Father of Lights
3. The Osiarch Celestials such as Wutzek, Lluxos, Marutz, Xurz. Osiarch is the term for Celestials. They have the role of creating universes.
4. Valdidar celestials such as the Father, Son, and Daughter. Valdidar Celestials are Celestials that have the role of being helpers to the Osiarch.
5. Typhojem, fully empowered by the Gems of Fury, the crystalized Heart of El’Shuddem, and the Soul-Destroyer had grown to such a level of power that he was able to oneshot at the Celestial Wutzek. He still had enough power to kill another Celestial. Not on their level considering that he got killed by beings who are lesser than a Celestial.

Watching clips of Q myself, can definitely see where the writing staff for Supernatural got their inspiration for the more goofy reality warping characters like Gabriel and Lucifer

just curious were most of these characters specific to supernatural encounters?

Some characters like Wutzek, Nakhash, Typhojem are in earlier SW material. Typhojem got the most content before SE. He is known to be the main deity of the Sith Pantheon. Supernatural Encounters takes very obscure parts of Star Wars and adds a lot of lore to them, emphasizing heavily on the supernatural, hence the name, Supernatural Encounters.

Some more feats and general statements of Q’s power:

-can create alternate timelines and dimensions
-the past timeline, present timeline and future timeline (each at least as large as the universe) were threatened by an anomaly, the Q Continuum were the only ones unthreatened by it and treated it as a puzzle for Picard to solve. Q ends up saving everyone regardless
-the Qs warring with each other in another dimension caused supernovas and galactic-scale destruction to appear in the main universe
-the same war threatens the subspace, which has an infinite number of “domains” in it
-a human who’s part-Q ran the risk of destroying the entire galaxy by accident
-plucks people out of different eras of time and bring them all to the present at once
-teleported the entire Earth 70,000 light years away and back instantly

I think I’ll stop here with the feats since there’s a lot of canon material regarding the Q, and there’s way too much for me to cover everything. I’m sure they’ve done more powerful stuff but so far what I’ve seen about them is very impressive

They’ve never been remotely threatened by anything aside from another Q so it’s hard to give them limits. They’re immortal/eternal reality warpers that treat the Big Bang and billions of times the speed of light as an absolute joke. They also exist outside of causality

Literally the Big Bang is used as a game of hide and seek for them. Never mind the fact it can’t even slightly harm them. Q even says the entire universe is his backyard, so they’re universal+ to multiversal

It looks like both Bedlam Spirits and Q are comparable. How many Qs are there in the Q Continuum?
It’s never elaborated on besides being ambiguously large. Some online sources say there are thousands of them but I don’t remember any of the episodes mentioning that

We’ve seen at least like 20 of them on screen. Though they have crossroads to every place in the universe in the Continuum so there should be a good number of them regardless

Pretty much this

Posters in the OBD have analyzed Star Wars to hell and back for well over a decade (probably a decade and a half honestly), and it took a lot of people posting evidence that puts the series where it is now. If we don't have anything concrete for Q that puts them at anything of this level or higher, especially with contradictions already making some stuff suspect, it'll probably end up with this being another Star Wars stomp thread.

So another day of the week that ends in "Y."

and we're STILL analyzing it :mjlol

I’m just seeing the rest of the thread now

Why was megaversal Q brought up lol. Maybe on VSBattles they are, but not from what I saw in TNG and Voyager

I figured Star Wars vs Star Trek would be a popular discussion on SB :mjlol

Pretty interesting to see Yhwach view a character so highly (that isn’t Mustache Man himself)
