2 mafia died, they just started with 7. Don't worry about half assing - the game was impossible for town to win.

The initial split was 12-7-2

Mafia had an extra kill with their delayed kills, an execute, a duel, was able to grab Whicker's kill, was able to perma remove the vote of a townie, and if three town in a row died, they got everything refilled for the next night to be used again.

There was no restriction on it, and because hammer ends the day it meant he was able to initiate the duel and with a hammer, immediately end the day and the duel with it.
