Character Counter

So this isn't usually an issue, but I recently hit the 80,000 character limit on a post I've used as a constant reference for other stuff. I don't expect the limit to be raised, but I wondered if any feature could be added to see how many characters were remaining before the post was full, that way it would be easier to know what to edit down and how much.

If there's an option to toggle it so not everyone has to see it (since it may not be aesthetically pleasing for some) this could be a good compromise

I quite liked it when we did have the character counter

yeah even if it's just visible upon editing or something, just any way to know how much space you got left would be very helpful, doesn't need to be mandatory for all to see it
