Essentially the old "breaks the setting/renders the story moot argument" which is an incredibly half-assed argument at the best of times, but even more hilarious in situations like FFVII where they miss the point entirely.Sephiroth (Final Fantasy) Vs Omniman (Invincible)
That Death Battle logic. Love it. So let me guess this straight. So The most powerful world ending attack in Comet is a huge deal and too much for Cloud and crew to fight against, needing the planet itself to intervene, but they can fight and survive super Nova attacks in another dimension...forums.spacebattles.com
Yeah it's almost like the planet in FF7 is fuck off strong on top of the fact that Sephiroth doesn't even use Supernova UNTIL HE'S ABSORBED A GOOD CHUNK OF THE LIFESTREAM ALREADY.
Like come on.
Wasn't it also because Sephiroth can't really bring the entire damn planet into the Supernova dimension or am I mistaken?Essentially the old "breaks the setting/renders the story moot argument" which is an incredibly half-assed argument at the best of times, but even more hilarious in situations like FFVII where they miss the point entirely.
Sephiroth's plan was to WOUND the planet, Supernova (which was already a move he had as far back as Crisis Core) would have DESTROYED the planet. Which is why he needed the Black Materia, to use an attack powerful enough to wound, but not kill the planet essentially.
The planet (which was able to stop METEOR) was held back from interfering specifically by Sephiroth. Now remind me, who defeated Sephiroth again? Yet these assholes are acting like METEOR is above the party who beat the guy who held back the planet from stopping METEOR in the first place.
Next they'll try and say Vegnagun being Sin level "breaks the story" of that game. It doesn't, it just creates a power creep that has the goofy ass Leblanc syndicate not dying instantly against a Sin level opponent.ha
Don't see why he WOULDN'T be able to, given the Supernova dimension is much bigger than the actual planet.Wasn't it also because Sephiroth can't really bring the entire damn planet into the Supernova dimension or am I mistaken?

It's just obviously not an attack he can manipulate the power of like a DBZ character, it does what it does FULL STOP and was too powerful to be used for what he had in mind.
YesRemind me, don't Knights of the Round straight up destroy their own dimension that has stars and galaxies in it?
YesAnd doesn't Sephiroth also scale above them (iirc)?
That's 'cause Beatrix was awesome.@Adamant soul One of the most hilarious things is looking at Dissidia Opera Omnia and seeing as they still make Beatrix a monster
The guy who casually cut Odin in half and took Gilgamesh to defeat let's not forgetby fighting and defeating Seifer,
Who defeats Jecht (who still has his Final Aeon powers) SOLO in Dissidia.Tidus,
Bare in mind Vaan defeated Gilgamesh in his game.Firion and Vaan one after the other in her Side Story...
Like it's not like Square downplays these characters or ever makes them look weak, they make EVERY effort to show how OP they are on a regular basis. The crazy part is that Opera Omnia explicitly plucked everyone out Post-Game(Which includes the Villains after their defeat and Vivi after his death) which truly shows how absurd she is... and so is Steiner considering he canonically defeated her once(Though this was before she got stronger and Steiner sees it as a fluke) even more funny.
That's 'cause Beatrix was awesome.
Still one of the few characters to NEVER take an L to the party of her game.

But still you get people who act like Advent Children was some out of nowhere shit in terms of how strong the characters are.ha
It's hilarious to me, being a Hope fan, that he's unironically one of the strongest characters in XIII by the end simply because Bhunivelze chose to make him his vessel.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA OMFG, They imply in Opera Omnia that Hope has a more powerful form hidden...
It's FUCKING BHUNIVELZE!!!
Holy shit game, fucking stop!

Never mind shit like Vanille being able to wipe out the souls of everyone who has ever died using the Soulsong (GG Bleach/Shaman King/A lot of verses where most of the cast are dead).ha
Aizen: No one has ever stood in the heavensAnd now Opera Omnia is saying that because of that connection, Hope can literally BECOME Bhunivelze and/or use his powers and take on his form... sweet fuck boy, calm your ass down.
