Isn't the entire process of obtaining a Bankai based around the idea that a Zanpaktou can manifest a tangible body for itself with power that's separate from its owner and then fight its owner to the death unless the owner is able to successfully subdue it? Yachiru directly disproves that zanpaktous only have the reaitsu of their weilder. The fact theres a bunch of zanpaktous walking around on their own in Ouetsus palace disproves this. Hell soul reapers can still use their zanpaktous shikai on their own without their zanpaktou spirit there...

Yachiru IS Kenpachi's Zanpaktou Spirit, primarily his Bankai Spirit.
Kenpachi actually manifested his spirit in the Real World subconsciously the entire time as Yourichi's edict on the way to reach Bankai.
It's just when Kenpachi gave her a name, it also gave her an actual presence and even Zanpaktou of her own on top of that.

Speaking of Fairy Tail vs Superman matchup there, that Selene moon feat where the moon was enlarged as she got serious yielded really impressive results (because Large Planet level Fairy Tail really does put it way higher up on the HST ladder).
Also, one of the guys posting on the previous OBD forum did say that creation feats would directly scale towards a character's DC?
Enlarging and shrinking objects should be separate from a character's physical strength unless he/she scales to a feat of physically destroying an object of a similar size, or produce a physical yield comparable to the energy required to destroy an object of that size...
Btw is the New 52 Superman around that level or is he stronger than that?
I'm assuming the guy from SB is using Natsu from the 100 year arc?

Can’t scale to her physically since Fairy Tail does a good job at making it quite clear Magic doesn’t equate to Physicals of a person
It does scale to her overall magic power though, especially since that was her only getting a “little serious” and still in her much weaker Human form.

Can only argue “Kratos holding back” so much, especially since it’s countered by the fact that he’s now stronger than he ever was during the Greek Era anyway and by the second game has trained his ass off to overcome the rustiness from centuries of fighting like a human to hide his godhood that slowed him down in the first game by the time he has his first fight with Thor

Heck even before all the 100 Years Quest, you got Irene’s Universe One Spell which changed the entire continent of Fiore, reducing it to 1/20th of its size and rearranging entire civilizations and landscapes to where those that were previously far away are now right next to each other or vice versa.
