See? I seen in the Main Convo that Keyaru is worse than that but how the fuck is he?! The funny part is despite Redo of Healer basically being an Edgelord series, Keyaru knows he's a monster and despises himself for it, choosing to wait until people step on his shoes to do anything to them. He only takes comfort in getting vengeance against those who did wrong to him and otherwise doesn't when it's in the name of others(Even the Captain of the Royal Guard he took no pleasure in considering it was in the name of his Hometown and Childhood friend).
Outside of one instance the story justifies, he avoids innocents and those who flee from him, actually grows to care for his harem to the point he would take a hit for them and even ultimately rules the Kingdom not as a despot but as a just King.
Yeah he's trash but he legit still likes to do Good for the sake of it, he still has some of his Humanity if you treat him decently. He's honestly a complex Isekai protagonist at the end of the day despite the series being Edgy as fuck.
