Holy shit man, I didn't think we would be seeing this shit but yeah "Apparently he needed a Warship" despite the fact that Broly all but stated he could easily survive the destruction of the Planet they are on and the lack of air after that in his very movie... which would mean he's capable of moving extremely fast in space to get anywhere as well.
EDIT: Might as well basically say that Saitama and Garou must be having warp technology to move around the Solar System so easily

To be fair, Broly in the first movie actually has his mental capacity in check, it was the later movie that turned him into a "Kakarot" spammer.
He clearly knows Paragus was going to ditch him and didn't by his excuse for a second. So the question that Broly could have used a Warship isn't incorrect... until we have an earlier scene that clearly shows he DIDN'T.
Might I add this was Baby Broly AFTER King Vegeta tried to give him a mortal wound and we clearly see him and Paragus in a Force Field which is why they survived Planet Vegeta's explosion... so where would the warships be?! There would be one just floating out in space?!

We cannot quantify how much damage Serious Punch Squared truly did because we have nothing that shows at all whether or not it destroyed all of the Stars like people try and run away with, it simply created an Earth sized Void or it's just a veil of darkness like there is a recorded phenomenon of a "hole in space" that just has no light illuminating it.
Meanwhile, we have easy as hell evidence Broly destroyed a Galaxy from 2 different sources.
