Like let's get past the jokes, how is any of this more impressive than it is? Especially when Mahoraga had to ramp up and Sukuna isn't remotely at full strength himself?

It just reminds me of the anime's take on Sukuna vs. Jogo, a fight that "seems" more impressive than it is but is honestly not much different than the Manga in the slightest.
It's ultimately alright animation wise but it's literally just "Sukuna fucks around, Mahoraga adapts when Sukuna throws in a bigger move and it gets no sold" till Sukuna just stops fucking around and kills it. You see a top half of a skyscraper get chucked and Sukuna going nuts with Cleave and other Cursed Techniques which is ultimately alright... but is not Heracles tier.
Not even only going by the Anime/Manga of F/SN.
Many ignore in the DEEN Anime, Heracles was able to get hit by Caladbolg II and didn't die and in that version, Caladbolg II is much more dumb than it was in the VN or UFOTable. That alone is far more absurd than anything Mahoraga has done or can do.

Like the Sukuna vs. Mahoraga fight was literally just half a chapter and they had to expand it into that(Which even then just feels more like "Sukuna spam Fell Cleaves for 10 minutes while Mahoraga looks intimidating" which is... why make THIS be your biggest set piece? Why not do it for the other fights you had for this season?

Into whatever the anime gave us tbh. The fire arrow is definitely better in the anime where the manga implied most of the bullshit was due to Malevolent Shrine. After all, that's what is said to "annihilate" everything in that 140 meter radius area, who knows what kind of effect and matter the fire arrow actually hammered in the manga.
At least you can argue Jogo did melt shit to make his meteor from the first panel of its starting creation in the manga. Anime took liberties unless these Shibuya Incident scans aren't official?
