Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Shirou's fighting style vs Medusa's are hard to even compare for who did "better"

Medusa played to her strength and focused on playing cat and mouse, Shirou had approached EMIYA and was therefore functioning at a level of swordsmanship comparable to his alternative future self. Raw sword play is going to favor EMIYA or a Shirou approaching that, but how Medusa fights doesn't require she always be in Artoria Alter's face anyway.

My guy really want to push the Shirou can win vs Alter Saber agenda, Shirou>Medusa agenda too.
He's not wrong about what she held back at least. Fact is if he can dice through her armor like he did with EMIYA's finisher, he legitimately has the stats to trade with her like described.

The context Nasu ever talks about characters being able to defeat them or fight them defensively is prerequisite that they can manage a bog standard B rank NP or defeat it outright. Shirou can't do that reliably, but his power set mimics the stats of some pretty bullshit people such as Herakles, Artoria, etc. Hell, EMIYA when sufficiently fueled by adrenaline and rage matches Herakles strength on his own with just Kanshou and Bakuya.

This universal Bleach argument is getting too stale.

wait i didnt know about this

wtf gege
I didn't even know that... makes it so much worse considering anytime people bring this shit up, it's either complete deflection or going to the extremely overused "JJK Readers lack Reading Comprehension"(which is funny as shit considering they equally tend to lack it) meme.

Like, I get it, Gege didn't want to have his series be milked(Which makes no sense that he added in the Simple Domain explanation(Why isn't it taught to everyone and it being some ridiculous convoluted plan to take over Jujutsu Society) 2 chapters before the end of the series) but when you have series like FullMetal Alchemist doing that in virtually the same time(and Hiromu Arakawa did it monthly at that) and I think she did it in far less chapters, being this bad when it comes to the actual main points of a story(The character interaction) is some real bad shit.
I don't think that's actually a thing

People started saying it because of Yuji's speech to Megumi, which people took put of context to say he was supporting suicide lol

No it's real

0266-003.png

The actual thing Yuji is saying here isn't that he condones suicide, but he can't find it in himself to say megumi should keep on living with what sukuna did to him.

No he is, Artoria hold back more than NP. She also lets Shirou gets free move, she doesn't vs Medusa. Medusa just renders her movement.

That's, again, silly.

EMIYA has the stats to throw down with Herakles for a few dozen blows dude, Shirou was approaching the level of EMIYA.

We know he can trade with people in her strength tier, nothing is inconsistent about that otherwise incredibly brief exchange.
She also lets Shirou gets free move, she doesn't vs Medusa.
Artoria didn't have a choice vs Medusa, Medusa was playing cat and mouse while Shirou fought her head on like an idiot because that's all he could do. Her chastising him about dueling rather than trying to win is not an indication she held back her physical might.

Here, Shirou informs us he's not only projected Kanshou and Bakuya, but also reproduced EMIYA's battle experience with them thus making Shirou's own abilities now close to EMIYA's.

Here, Shirou removes the Shroud of Martin, projects Kanshou and Bakuya, and his reasoning for not trying to project his own copy of Excalibur Morgan to fight Artoria Alter. Here, Shirou charges Artoria Alter from 10 meters away and attacks with Bakuya. Shirou attacks with Kanshou, Artoria Alter defends and readies a counterattack to Shirou's throat. Shirou blocks Artoria Alter's counterattack much to Artoria Alter's surprise. Shirou continues defending against Artoria Alter's attacks. Here, Shirou defends against another attack from Artoria Alter, that's all he can do, he's already blocked 30 attacks that could have killed him. Here, Shirou deflects more attacks from Artoria Alter, he perceives his death occurring 30 steps ahead through EMIYA's True Eye of Mind skill. Shirou defends against another attack, he feels joy at being able to keep up with Artoria Alter. Here, Shirou defends against another blow, he muses about why Artoria Alter won't attack with her Noble Phantasm and only fights him using her sword technique. They continue to exchange, Shirou's speed increases as he digs deeper into EMIYA's arm to extract more. Here, Artoria Alter's last attack is also blocked, but the force sends Shirou backwards, Artoria Alter grunts from exertion. Here, EMIYA's True Eye of Mind skill tells Shirou he can block 5 more attacks from Artoria Alter. Shirou points out he's keeping up with Artoria Alter, Artoria reminds him to check his definition of keep up given the condition he's putting his body into for him to achieve this current feat (she knows he's at his limit and will defeat him in their next exchange).

Here, Shirou is unarmed, Artoria Alter charges Shirou. Shirou charges Artoria Alter, projects another copy of Kanshou and Bakuya, and blocks Artoria Alter's attack. Here, Shirou goes to project Kanshou and Bakuya again, the remaining 10% of his mind vanishes. Shirou passes his limit, his circuit filled to bursting with magical energy, and projects his final copy of Kanshou and Bakuya. Shirou slashes Artoria Alter's defenseless body from both sides with his final projections. Here, Shirou's last attack from Artoria Alter's perspective, Shirou's attack crushed her spine and splattered her internal organs. The attack is fatal. Shirou's final attack had the force of an explosion, she's only still alive due to her nature as a Servant despite her fatal wounds. Here, the Tiger Dojo reinforces the fact Shirou did indeed defeat Artoria Alter with no allusion to her tanking it on purpose.

Like, I broke it down, keeping it to the description of the events as closely as I can to not confound the information. It's not that hard to follow.

EDIT - Of fucking course they're gfycat links. Have to upload what I diced up to the google drive then.

Silly? Thats literally how it happen

Artoria explicitly let Shirou make the first move.

This is sparks liner high:

This is leading to good end with Medusa:

"I will not attack if he does not move.
But he will advance, no matter what. He knows he cannot defeat me, but all he can do is move forward.
Am I wrong, Rider?"

In both cases Artoria hold back more than just NP against Shirou. Calling it "silly" is literally going against canon, no different than that guy

Of course it’s silly, because he literally has the stats to chunk her armor and organs on top of the fact in the scene you’re hugging he hadn’t immersed himself in the power of EMIYA’s arm deeply enough to reach EMIYA

Even here though, she was forced to parry Caladbolg II.

You’re ignoring what’s inconvenient to embrace something that doesn’t even hurt your position. He won, the Tiger Dojo literally tells us as much on top of the rest of the action in the scene. Pissing and shitting yourself over the fact he can take 1 out of 10 when she doesn’t use Excalibur is cute though.

Never giving the benefit of the doubt to a Naruto character... again.

Again, I want to put this on display:

Ad populum fallacy.

The consensus of fanboys who wank the Nasuverse to high heaven is in no way a valid or reliable source
.

And on the topic of Angra, even if we accept the No Limit Fallacy that he can indeed kill all sorcerers because of his conceptual advantage, he's still screwed when it comes to cursed spirits.

This being said in the forum that wanks Jujutsu Kaisen to high heaven and tends to shit on anything the Nasuverse does even when it's stated pointblank. :jordangif

So you are saying, saying something that literally happens is silly? Does him being able to damage her= She never let him have the first move? Does that panel I shared never happens then?

You are ignoring what exactly is happening for your own convenience and claim someone else is ignoring inconvenient. Why would I insist if it doesn't even hurt my position as you claim it? Because it is what follows the canonical story. Seeing one part and closing your eye to the other part because it you uncomfortable isn't being canonical. If he won he wouldn't die and Alteria survive. In your logic because he can damage her, then anything that goes against the notion that he can damage her such as her letting him attack her and consider him not a threat should be ignored.

No it shouldn't.

nah, negros, not of this nasu bs stuff, again, if u want take it to the nasu convo

I want actual discussions there, not discourse or nonsense. If anyone has actual questions sure, but not this.

More like most Servants are superior to 98% of JJK characters and top tiers like Sukuna require stronger Servants

No?

and Gojo requires Servants with hax that fuck his infinity, most of the time these Servants are much stronger than him, like Altera.

What no?! A simple Bounded Field >>> Infinity and "powerful Servants" can tear through Kayneth's ridiculous laybrinth and they are a massive misnomer because it's usually just the average.

Fate/Strange Fake Volume 4 said:

Servants vs the sort of Boundary Field Kayneth set up during the 4th Grail War.

Then, the Einzbern homunculus and Miss Borzak are helpless?”
Not at all,” Faldeus immediately contradicted his subordinate as if his earlier praise of the workshop had been a lie.
It would be one thing if they’d gone in alone. With the Heroic Spirit Haruri summoned, however, it’s a different story. The workshop in Fuyuki I mentioned was destroyed along with the entire hotel, but if a Servant well-versed in magecraft had challenged the labyrinth, they would have broken through it sooner or later.”
Faldeus’ opinion on this matter was the opposite of what it had been ten years earlier. A modern labyinthized workshop was difficult to penetrate; even a Heroic Spirit would need to exploit a weak point or back door, he had thought. Now that he had accessed the data from the puppet his ancestor had left behind — the record of the third Fuyuki Holy Grail War — and had contact with the Heroic Spirit Hassan-I Sabbah, however, he was in no doubt. A maze of that level would not work on a powerful Heroic Spirit.
Although I doubt that weak Avenger in the record of the third Fuyuki war could do anything about it, Faldeus thought as he turned his attention to a monitor.

In any case, if she summons her Servant to break out of the workshop, it will be a golden opportunity for us to observe its abilities.”

I never understood why people think Altera being able to casually cut a huge swathe of space with her Photon Ray is somehow unique only to Altera when distorting Space just to gather Magical Energy to use an NP was there since F/SN:

Here, Gae Bolg's power distorts space as Cu readies to throw it.

It's just giving SB more needless nonsense to prove their non-existent points when you can just actually state the truth, damn what they want to believe(Because it's practically always wrong).

My choice would be either Dantes using his NP to ingore space and kill Gojo

Dantes is way too strong and is not the choice.

or Kazuradrop before getting the MC

That doesn't matter, Bug Space is still too much for anyone in JJK, Kazuradrop isn't an ultra weak Servant, she's still a High End Servant with multiple Divinities within her.

You can probably find a weaker Extra class.
(edit: personally don't believe that Angra can kill Gojo)

It's funny throughout this thread, they basically wank themselves silly on how Angra can't kill Gojo but they can never really explain why past wanking the shit out of Limitless... something that people still get extremely wrong in how it operates because everyone lacks in reading comprehension.
