Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

physically ordinary humans when literal schoolchildren get hit by ten inch in diameter spheres of iron at 60+ mph
You're talking about Quidditch, right?

Because I'm sure that they have safety charms on the balls. Doby disabling those charms on a Bludger and having it specifically target Harry was a lethal threat.

That being said, there are implications that wizards heal faster than normal humans, they don't get normal diseases, they live longer and are more durable in general- but most of these can be attributed to subconscious accidental magic keeping them alive. There's no indication they are anything above peak humans, much less superhuman.

Resalvaging some old calcs made me look for calc methods, and I saw a thread on Reddit talking about one of my old calcs;
I've not paid attention to the MCU in years, and most of the replies are your standard Reddit nonsense of 'maybe the Hammer sped up (based on who knows what' but this comment sticks out in particular...

He says that having impressive feats goes against intent and is only done so people can win vs debates with their pet series
He says this about the MCU

Nah but these are the same people who'll complain about certain characters supposedly being so OP that no story involving them can be interesting or make sense, then it turns out they never actually read the series in question and are basing their entire knowledge off out of context panels or clips they saw some Twitter powerscaler post or on Death Battle or some shit. Even with context they still go off the assumption that "character has a powerful feat in the scene" and "this scene helps progress the story" are mutually exclusive.

Capeshit gets this treatment real bad, but guys with really impressive feats like Superman or the Flash get this the worst.

dawg i absolutely HATE when people do that shit

part of many of the old "superman is overpowered" rants
which always rang absurd to me because, sure supermans got a lot of powers and it gets pretty absurd sometimes, but being overpowered to me has always been relative to the series you are in, and nobody would ever mention that elephant in the room
like overpowered relative to what?

superman would be God in like james bond or something, but hes not IN james bonds world is he hes in the DC universe where everything is insane

It's like I said before, people don't really read Harry Potter anymore, they read a fanfiction tier Harry Potter that basically fits everything they wanna say while then basically going about what they said.
It's as bad as how many times I consistently see people state that Nasuverse Mages are "absolute sociopaths that will forever plague Humanity" bullshit on TvTropes and Reddit(When the entire deal is that's not only not true, EMIYA explicitly states it's bullshit and just like everything that wants to be attained by humans and failed because they are human, Nasuverse Mages are still at the end of the day human) but then you never hear about how truly fucked the Church is in comparison(Despite the Burial Agency being everything the Church should stand against or how they treated Ciel in the original Tsukihime or their extreme dogmatic stance that only shows they hypocritical want Mystery on their own terms).

Harry Potter Wizards do exactly have those benefits(Not getting sick by normal disease, live longer, can heal better and more durable) but none of those are to any real extremes either.

This is literally R2 vs H2 again only Ichigo actually has control of his senses this time.
But of COURSE you still get people saying Ulquiorra wins this.

Yep Kubo directly states Unohana ON HER OWN would exhaust Aizen as a reason for him avoiding fighting her, but he'd TOTALLY beat the ALL OF THIS at the same time.

i had watched only the first episode from lol daima, and now i noticed somehow a traffic of another potential multiversal feat? can somebody without wank, elaborate more on this, fill me in, whats the situation?

the context is that some Majin from the Demon Realm made the universes

that's about it basically

TL;DR basically, The Demon World is basically 3 Universes of various Quality that is overall connected to the DBZ Multiverse in a weird fashion. And the latest episode told us that the very first Demon King basically got who is Zen'O's predecessor Rymus to create the overall Multiverse DB takes place in and his spawn are the Supreme Kai as we know them(and yes, it includes the Supreme Kai we see in DBS).

so, another solid multiversal feat cuz this one is for the majin multiverse? and scales for the dbs top tiers, not bad, and is there a confirmation that some other plane of existence was already there before the (mortal?) universes were created, that upscales the verses cosmology, which in on itself is vastly more important than an individual universal scaling we debate, basically, its also a lore zenkai too

goku reaching multiversal in canon at some point, aint a joke as it seems, who knows, it might expand more on this cosmic lore

Apparently the Demon Universes was first alongside the Afterlife as that's what Rymus created and the First Demon King existed as well.
So basically massive lore Zenkai and Zen'O/Rymus can create as well as destroy Universes(most likely Zen'O is just lazy and depends on the Super Dragonballs for whatever reason).
