Circus of Humorous & Humiliating Arguments Part 5: Diamonds are fleeting. Stupid lasts forever

Just have them fight Ragna and Kamui. They should have the stats to hang with the upper tiers while losing to more hax members. It's not a bad catchup, Artemisia is just unironically not a combatant

See thats the thing, due to the limitation of screen time: Considering Ais can slice through Asterius, logically Gareth should be able to one shot him. But iirc Gareth never actually fought him, even though he is there. His screentime got limited.

During the fight with Demi-Spirit who's name I don't bother to remember, both Riveria and Gareth took damage from her spells. Gareth is said to be the most durable...So why is he taking roughly similar damage to Riveria.
The best anyone's done for speed I know of is dodging lightning, and that was Allen himself iirc

Finn just got to level 7 while Ottar has been there for a while now.
I don't remember who, but in one of the description for the speed the narration talk about moving at speed of light. It possibly exaggeration but it is narration so I am not sure.
Not unless the novel is hilariously above the manga. They've got some decent shit but not only are they largely pure unga-bunga, they don't have the same high-ends Servants do. That might change depending on how strong the Black Dragon is though
One of the feats listed on the previous page is this:
  • Level 4 Adventurers: Significantly stronger, able to break through tough materials like Adamantite and defeat larger, more powerful monsters.
  • Example: Ryuu Lion at Level 4 causing concrete to fly with her movements.
Now I think we have no idea how strong is Danmachi's Adamantite in comparison to materials in Fate. But assuming they are the same. This is above most if not all non-combatant type Servant, and possibly a lot of Assassins too.

Like Servants like Hans, Shakespear, a lot of Hassan, Jing Ke, fucking Jason even would die in 1 hit if they get direct unprotected hit by someone that can break through Fate's Adamantite.

Odysseus' Aegis armor for example is made of adamantite.

It makes sense for LVL 6 and above to be able to compete to Servant, but in the feats there even lvl 5 can cause city-wide destruction...That's above some non-combatant Servant.

And yet they don't show they have to those degree, relying on visual effect only is bad but not relying on it at all is also bad, and right now the visual effect doesn't shows that. Their speeds reach above Mach 10? When Allan is noted to be around speed of sound? What?

It's confusing to me.

No, Ais sliced through Asterius using Avenger-powered Arial. Her attack power in that state is higher than anyone other than a serious Ottar or several minute Argonaut charge.

For that matter, Ais' wind attacks at full force have a higher output than Gareth's normal attacks, and iirc he doesn't really have any kind of special amp. He's also primarily a tank whose durability is higher than his attack power.

Because Riveria was behind him while he was face tanking the shot, and Riveria threw up a barrier.....that Gareth was outside of.

It would have been Allen, but I haven't seen him actually do anything that fast.

Never assume that. Adamantite in Danmachi crumbles under Ais' wind, whose best feats are city level at this point. Adamant in Fate is the stuff Greek Divine Armaments are made out of and can take a planet piercing laser before crumbling.

Like Servants like Hans, Shakespear, a lot of Hassan, Jing Ke, fucking Jason even would die in 1 hit if they get direct unprotected hit by someone that can break through Fate's Adamantite.

Again, this is not a reasonable assumption. Why would they be comparable?

I don't know which Servant you're referring to, but.....so? If a Servant actually only has those stats then there is nothing wrong with them losing to someone with higher stats.

Allan at one point outruns a lightning bolt, though that happens in the main series and not SO. Also Bell's Firebolt is noted to be exceptionally fast and comparable to lightning (because his idea of magic is based on Zeus) it's just also weak unless he charges it. Nobody below like level 5 or 6 manages to actually dodge it that I recall though.

Riveria glasses a floor larger than Orario, loses a magical power contest with a Demi-Spirit, and then Gareth physically tears through the obstructions the spirit used to block the aftereffects of her own attacks.

Ais' wind while in Avenger state can shatter Durandal, a material even Ottar at full strength can't break (because Ais is actually a half-spirit)

Danmachi doesn't do much AoE outside of big flashy spells, but there are plenty of direct power comparisons to those spells to work off of.

I'm not sure why Danmachi Adamantite is as strong as Fate's Adamantite in any fashion.

That's as huge of a reach as believing that a metal in TES is the same as a metal in Real Life.

I was going to mention the whole "what is Magic Resistance for 500$" question but they think Shirou is as physically fit as a normal human

so uh

nvm

Ah yes, I too enjoy normal human things like getting thrown fifty feet through the air into the nearest building hard enough to smash through the wall

yeah remember that time a normal guy irl punched away a several ton cross

crazy stuff

Here, Shirou eats a round house kick from Cu that sends him flying against his shed wall 20 meters away. Here, Shirou uses the poster as a one time shield against Cu's last strike, the blow sends Shirou flying into the interior wall of the Shed.

Normal ass Human, being able to shrug being kicked over 20 meters away into a concrete made shed, being able to handle All of the Evil in the world and surviving being almost bifurcated by a Noble Phantasm equivalent to what killed Heracles.

Anyone can just survive this shit - SB.

I looked it up apparently Franklin is his son.

i honestly had the impression that Reed's full name was Franklin Reed Richards.
