What Void did this chapter is some stupid shit, but also kind of feels like a lot of extra steps to do the equivalent of him dipping into another dimension and doing a space cutting attack. They can't even wank it to say it's infinite speed, because Flashy sense it coming and you could see the cut traveling towards them.
Although I think OPM is just going to keep getting worse with its power creep.
