Yeah, I told them they allowed the Naruto Subsonic downplay without even trying to correct it and now the whole series is fucked and that's something anyone who even touches Naruto knows is horseshit of the highest calibur.

A while ago I said something about Spacebattles being the flat earthers of versus debating and stuff like peak human level Dragon Ball only proves my point 
Join the club. He's usually extremely pretentious anytime he pulls up in the Nasuverse Threads acting like he's the hottest shit in town but this is some next level ass.
He doesn't understand by trying to make nitpicks be on the same level as genuine critiques, there is zero point for a VS. debate in the same fashion that movie discussions are just as tainted by the exact same stance on Youtube. Nor does he understand that dude raised an extremely good point in that having entire debates be centered around inconsistencies mattering completely poisons the well so he literally tries to cover his own ass in the worst fashion possible by stating "well everyone else does it" when only Spacebattles does that.
Not even Reddit abides by that shit, not even VSB abides by that shit... unless he means CBR or SV but no one counts them as Battleboards.

And it's even more not fair because Dragonball "has so many variables of speed" and Tatsumaki "is just fast"...

He's making a statement that on its face is "true" but paired with everything else going on here it becomes clear what the real goal is, which is a lot of my issues with SB debating in general. "I can't suspend my disbelief enough to accept X series doing Y"
This might be a valid approach if there's sound reasoning (eg. in Jujutsu Kaisen, there's a planet level suicide attack but the community at large doesn;t accept anyone scaling to it because showings far lower than that outnumber it far too much. We can't accept it because the series kinda shits on that)

I definitely prefer forums, I just think they're mostly on the way out in most things not just this hobby. Youtube, Discord channels, Reddit, other social media seem to have eclipsed the forum scene for this hobby. Even VSB, which has the biggest forum community in this hobby now, people only actually pay attention to its wiki, not any of the threads they make or even source material in those threads
Okay yeah, I can't even joke anymore, they are about to fully downplay DB into the dirt at this point. Teacher's Pet Mods, Arcadia's stupid ass and others agreeing with him... we are about 2 steps away from them literally pulling Subsonic Naruto on DB as a whole.
That's always been Crossing's entire problem as a whole and why I state that he tends to be "2 steps away from a point". The issue as a concept what he's saying can be made into a point... the issue is that he's always 2 steps removed from that point making any goddamned sense in a meaningful fashion and thus just comes off as noise rather than it actually being a meaningful part of any debate.
The issue isn't that Dragon Ball is a terrible series to start it with because he does it with most series as a whole anyway.
While that's true, I don't think it will last long for the reasons I have stated and I feel people are ultimately realizing it themselves:
Reddit has the Upvote issue where Discussions are impossible to have because you can be buried in a few downvotes and anyone can say anything meaningful and get upvoted to shit
Youtube is equally awful for debates because Google themselves keep on fucking up Youtube to the point it's impossible to even tell WHEN YOU GOT MESSAGED to continue a debate nowandays.
Discord Channels are now adding FORUMS... I shouldn't need to say more.
The issue is that it's difficult to not only have easy info on hand, but even more difficult to save that info anywhere else and most social media sites are godawful for having meaningful discussions, being able to save data since a simple ban or shadowban is enough for that to be permanently lost and the very systems can curb debates maliciously.
It's easy to have small debates in those places, it's impossible have any real meaningful debates with those channels.

Post-Quincy powers FB Ichigo would be a difficult opponent for fucking BANKAI Yamamoto, never mind Shikai.
Aside from very obvious feats showing he's leagues above the guys who were one-shotted (yet survived) and that's before he even got his Quincy powers.
