This always cracks me up as if something being predictable means you can deal with it at far, far slower speeds like the freaking speed of light.

I think the funniest thing about that, and him citing the manga specifically, is that the manga is actually more explicit about Chariot being faster. Polnareff does need to know the path, but every single time Chariot cuts the Hanged Man, he moves well after The Hanged Man has already started. In a static medium like manga it’s much harder to miss. I don’t know why they always ignore this.
