Oh I was thinking they were aligned before. I had it provisionally as Sky/Gad/Lethal - I think however if Sky is scum and partnered with someone she knows well she might be less inclined to feel the need to be proactive, so I was leaning towards Gad. As to why I had it to those three, I have town reads on the rest.
To expand on this I think Sky more than I see her as Town has looked to "get things going", she's taken a leading position in terms of what she generates, which is out of her comfort zone. I've no idea how highly she rates Lethal, but generally, with that familiarity I would expect her to be a bit more comfortable, and feel less like she has to do it all. Whereas if she rolled Scum with Gad, this is about how I would expect it to look.
Still don't really have an independent read on Lethal. Gad, when I was first thinking about this team back this morning, I had a mild scum read of because he hadn't done anything, which isn't really indicative of much for him but with having some reason to think others were town, the PoE was starting to narrow down on him.
So I took a bit of an aggressive stance with him and their resulting play has been more or less exactly what I would expect from the two as scum. They've both, very quickly, latched onto the other being scum, they're more confident on this than any other position they've taken so far, for reasoning that's pretty arbitrary and lacks any real consideration for how the person themselves play. They're just so confident the other is scum.
Now I am one arrogant, cocky motherfucker it's true. It's certainly very possible that after a reasonably good town game I'm riding the ego high and am deluding myself about having caught the scum team halfway into Day 1. I've tried to repress this as much as possible but I'm feeling really quite good about my solve. I was going to make a post before the day ended after we lynched Sky with a "if Sky is scum go Gad next" but Saber beat me to it. Alas. But none of the play since they, particularly Sky, responded to pressure has struck me as very convincing. Just feels like they're trying to get themselves out of the box they're in.
That's my thought process anyway. Knowing how this tends to go, I'm about to fall very flat on my face and if so oh well. But yeah that's how I go ti where I am. Happy to tall about the town reads I have in more detail as well if needed.
