When you said 4 times that you didn't want to be converted, you'd rather die town, ect. At worst it's extremely disingenuous and performative to say as good, and at best it's just an evil trying to appear towny (which I do think is the case.)

Scum can get it, and even if scum can't they can just choose to claim vig. I understand how the majority of the time it can be clearing, but it is very wolfy to say with no follow up (given you aren't exactly pushing for them to be innocent), it reads more as though soft defending somebody you as mafia know is going to flip town for future credit.
