Fight was nice overall. I vibed with up until the end. Not just for the slightly dour note of Herakles losing, but because the death was kinda lame, with the buildup they gave it. Literally have their god forms clash alongside their mortal forms, and Wukong just sort of ends up turning him to nothingness just by hitting him real hard? Lame.
Overall, fight gets an 8/10 for me. Would've been a 9/10 regardless of the Wukong win, if the death had been better, but it just came off limp to me compared to everything else in the fight itself.

Yeah, the final blow was kind of weak, I did like what they did with the scroll. I like how it extended when Son Wukong went beyond it, and how when he made his staff giant it extended out of the scroll. They didn't show any destruction involving the environment for some reason, maybe the final blow should have ripped the scroll itself.

Saw the episode, and it was pretty fun. In fact, I didn't mind the lack of destruction. Sun Wukong carried most of the fight with his personality and charisma, and even Heracles had a great moment when he saw the Monkey King's transformation. The animation was neat too
It's truly a pity Heracles' rundown didn't mention how he impregnated nearly 50 women in a single night

Really liked this fight, I hope they do more mythological death battles in the future.
Though the fight was kinda short and the ending was lame like @Derpmaster9000 said. Wished the fight could've showed there strength more.

Yeah, that's something I'm noticing, I've never been much of a fan of DB but the current fights are shorter than their past ones.
I guess there sacrificing watch time for higher quality?
I kinda wish that too, but still really liked what we got.
Now, provided that episode does GOOD numbers, I want them to do Cu Chulainn vs Achilles for their next mythology-based MU. For me, as a Greek Myth enthusiast, and a proud Irish man, that fight would be absolute fucking kino for me.
