They also had no idea that Mangekyou Sharingan only REFLECTS Genjutsu, it doesn't actually cancel it as seen with Kabuto vs. Itachi and Sasuke.

Their point was scaling it from Sasuke canceling Itachi's Tsukuyomi. But I'm not sure you can scale that linearly with another character since Sasuke specifically trained his sharingan to nullify Itachi's genjutsu since he didn't have a mangekyou of his own. I feel whether or not he can see through Aizen's KS is debatable though.
I'm pretty sure Itachi wasn't even trying in that instance and considering we've seen Itachi and Sasuke had to rebound Kabuto's Genjutsu to break out of it effectively while they had Mangekyou Sharingan, it puts more holes into the fact they can see and break through Aizen's KS.
And even them saying Aizen would be screwed due to "no illusions" was wrong as he immediately worked through and figured out Shinji's Shikai despite being just as ridiculous as KS.

Looks like YT isn't taking the Aizen loss very well but less because of KS vs genjutsu and more because "Aizen is literally immortal he can't die therefore he can't lose a Death Battle!" even though that kind've misses the point of chakra=reaitsu equalization in that it doesn't matter if he's immortal the black spheres would nullify his regeneration.
