Given how far out Simon vs Kyle is they might see that cosmology blog and decide to allow it just to edge Simon a victory

going by what @Stocking Anarchy has talked about I dont see why they cant use the blog. And if the information is legit then it isnt really "allow it just to edge Simon a victory", its "using relevant info to determine the victor"

considering how poorly researched Unicron was my hopes aren’t high, but I do want them to. Simon deserves it
thats all we really can hope for, that they do the right and proper amount of research for every fighter and make sure to weed out any bullshit so that stuff is accurately relayed and can make the fights just that more fleshed out

well tbf Simon is far simple and easier given the how short his material is in comparison to TF stuff but yeah understandable
for sure but I meant specifically in regards to cosmology blogs, by the time DB did Unicron, they could have just googled 'transformers cosmology' and found several resources with more information than what they ultimately used, so I kinda doubt they will do that for Simon. That said, the Multiversal Labyrinth has the benefit of actually being directly in the show so it's harder to miss, so they should at least have Simon at a decently multiversal level character.

I could be wrong but there were legit ways to make Galan kill Unicron. You need to really stretch to give Kyle the W, it requires extreme high end interpretations of one or two feats that were contested even in the Death Battle Cast, and if given more reasonable interpretations won't give Kyle the W. Kyle's only definitive W was the Life Equation which might be rendered moot if r>f stuff makes TTGL cosmology basically multiple levels of reality above the Godsphere, nevermind that once again even in the DBC it was debated if Kyle actually should get the LE.

There are wincons or higher scaling arguments for Galactus for sure, my issue is just that the research on Unicron was very light and not that comprehensive. They basically did what I expected and based it all on one specific 2006 comic. My issue isn't that Unicron lost it's that he wasn't represented well, but relevant to TTGL specifically, there were resources out there that could have helped.

Though I'm now wondering if maybe the research was rushed or something and they knew RT was closing around that time but who knows as I don't follow DB super closely.

Do you think DB would actually use R>F? They seem kinda hesitant with some of their scaling once things get really cosmic. Though stuff like the Labyrinth being in your face on screen makes me think at the very least Simon won't get lowballed.

My vibe is this

There is too much going against the Mandrakk feat and Miracle Machine feat for them to make GL Kyle lolversal, so they'll just use the Imperiex big bang thing (Which is also bs but whatever), that would still make him weaker than SGGL

TTGL likely beats Ion and even holds its own against the White Lantern

STTGL beats White Lantern

Final clash Simon would beat WL too

so the fight is constantly in Simon's favor

But Kyle has one thing, one wincon that not only makes him win, makes the fight a trivial stomp. It's an object he only had for 11 months and willingly gave up, the Life Equation.

Death Battle, now separate from WB, probably wants a DC L. The fight hinges entirely on if Kyle has the LE and then they learn TTGL has r>f cosmology which can very easily give Simon the W if they curate the analysis correct.

They'll do anything to make sure it happens.

Definitely hoping for a Simon W in any case. Not familiar enough with DC to know but does the Life Equation break their outside equipment rule or nah
Nah, it's the full essence and power of the white light and is bounded to Kyle and can't be removed unless he willingly chooses to. He does so to create the WL corps.

But he got rid of it before he lost his WL ring too and only used it for a year, less time than he was even Ion, let alone White Lantern. And frankly, WL Kyle was well recieved and people want it back while I doubt he'll ever get the LE again because it's too gamebreaking.
