Sonic and Goku ain't happening. Sailor Moon and Shazam are the only opponents I see Death Battle picking, unless Liam wants to go full OBD-mode kind of based and make Seiya vs Goku purely just to show why people joked that the Saint Seiya series is what Dragon Ball fanboys wished their series was in terms of it feats.

Seiya vs Moon would be better because Moon has more hax and way more forms than Shazam, making a cooler long battle. On the other hand that might be bad because they might not give time to show all their forms.

Seiya vs Shazam would be less flashy but give DC the L it deserves.

I wish Bastard!! Never ended so abruptly, we could have had Dark Schneider vs Shazam. And by the end of series powercreep he should have enough of an arsenal to beat DB DC stats

Ben is a gigantic Sonic stan so Sonic is always going to be a possibility

I'm more willing to bet Knuckles showing up in season 9 due to him making an appearance in the upcoming Sonic movie. At least in my opinion. Who knows, Ben may just actually use that as an excuse to bring Sonic back in again, lol.

I wouldn't doubt it, with the exception of the 6th one there's been a Sonic fight in every single season I'm just sayin (and I'm convinced it was purely because it was the year of Liam)

TBH, I don't see Ben bringing Sonic in for Pegasus Seiya, since that's an obvious L for Sonic. Pretty much all of Seiya's most popular matchups, he wins in. The last two battle Sonic has been in, he's lost in. If he's coming back, and Ben is that much of a stan for him, I would think the next foray for Sonic would be against someone he'd feasibly win against.

I think they might most likely will pair Seiya up with Sailor Moon tbh. They heavily implied and showed interest in Shazam fighting He-Man.

Nah Beerus vs Galaxia is still blocked on YouTube unless they get that situated they ain't doing Toei related characters against each other

The researchers stated Magento would be facing Tetsuo if the former got in DB
So don't expect anything else but that

With the Totally Not Mark situation going on Toei is on another rampage not seen since they had the balls to try to permaban TeamFouStar from YT and take down their website, considering TFS is the reason there being such a massive boom of interest in Dragon Ball in the late 00s to 10s and the gigantic army of stans they've accumulated Toei really didn't know who they were fucking with, good times :obamalaugh
