I want them to bring in The Doctor but I don't know exactly how he would fit in a DB since his whole gimmick is that they reincarnate every time they die.
Also dumb question from someone who hasn't jumped into DW, I know he has superhuman stats and tech but has The Doctor ever actually fought anyone? Every single confrontation clip of his on YT I see whether its a human, a god, demon or alien he seems to outwit them, tricks them into defeating themselves and/or watches them flee with their tail between their legs. I know he's acknowledged as supremely powerful but in terms of confrontation he definitely seems to prefer the Light Yagami chess approach to defeating an opponent rather than combative one.

The Doctor vs Reed would be boring, since at that point, DB will just defect to whenever Reed has had the UN, which will then delve into The Doctor vs the UN, which removes any interest there was to be had in the first place.
 
The strongest thing in Doctor Who is The Glory which is omniversal, but the Doctor *failed* at obtaining it and it was held by the Master instead

So he would have the Eye of Harmony/Heart of the TARDIS which is either multiversal+ or megaversal+, or maybe The Moment which is Megaversal+(?)

His TARDIS coordinated with the Master's to take down the Quantum Archangel who is multiversal+

Physicals hardly matter when both characters will pretty much be using their inventions to fight for them. Like would you expect it to make one bit of difference for Jimmy Neutron vs Dexter if one character is slightly taller or heavier than the other?

And i'm not really changing my mind from an appeal to popularity, as I don't think the most popular match is always the best one. I like both Futurama and Doctor Who more than Rick and Morty tbh. But I wouldn't go for Farnsworth vs The Doctor because of that. Thematically there's just more cohesion to two comedic sci-fi cartoon geniuses fighting each other than a sci-fi cartoon genius fighting a sci-fi live-action genius. Sure you can probably find or make a sprite or 3D Model to use for The Doctor but that still doesn’t erase the stylistic dissonance IMO.

Uh.. while it's maybe an exception to the rule you can't really forget that Wily vs Dr Eggman exists and was pretty much entirely based on both characters prepping their massive armies of robots to bring with them. It wasn't anything close to a normal random encounter with only their usual equipment at the ready.

that was S1 and that was morseso giving them stuff they been associated with than a pure prep fight
 
Would like to point out that they said a lot of characters from this season are gonna be from series they haven't used, aren't usually associated with versus fighting and match-ups that are out there so get ready for more MLP fights I'm calling it now the brony fanbase is one they haven't shilled out to in a while.

They don't like using MLP so don't expect an MLP Rep this season
