Omni-Man won. Sun disk was indeed a factor here (it was considered 1/2 the size of the Star). Bardock does trillions of c and is faster than Omni-Man. Bardock got Super Saiyan and Oozaru. Reasoning from the outcome is, even though Omni-Man was a thousand times slower than Bardock, the latter couldn't close the gap in power. They did not scale Super Saiyan Bardock to First Form Frieza, rather just used it as a normal multiplier. Planet Vegeta value didn't got higher than Ronnatons.

Didn't even bother giving Bardock Saiyan Saga Vegeta feat or Frieza despite have the power level to scale to them

you mentioned you felt Doomguy was done dirty in the old Death Battle. While they could have analyze what he had better, there isn't much to analyze.
Doom 1,2, 64 are the only ones that matter. Maybe you can include D3 and the RPGs but the stuff added there isn't particularly significant either and the only connection is a publicity blurb for Doom RPG saying "you're playing as the same hero you saw from Doom 1+3" otherwise they're different characters with different motivations and personalities.
Even the comic is dubiously canon and at best is supplemental and frankly doesn't have any particularly spectacular feats.
The novels are a nonentity and should be ignored because it's obviously noncanon.
Final Doom and No Rest for the Living (which existed at the time of DGvMC) were just new level packs with no new weapons or enemies that could test Doomguy.
Cyberdemons and Spider Masterminds were the best thing Doomguy dealt with on a consistent basis and CDs could one shot him if he didn't strafe and dodge the rockets and the Spiderdemon's machine gun isn't too impressive, not enough to deal with Chief.
As for Doom 64, the only two new enemies are invisible imps which whatever and the the Mother Demon who was a game changer maybe but still nothing insane. They mentioned the Unmaker and how in the Doom Bible it based it's power on how evil the target is, so it was useless against Chief
The end of the fight proper is how a BFG realistically would go. I don't buy high end Spartan feats but the BFG is probably weaker than a Spartan Laser and bubble shields could tank those. Meanwhile Doomguy couldn't survive a sticky.
They did him about as dirty as any other season 1 character, but there really isn't any material to work with him. You best can use in-game mechanics and the models of weapons to kinda get some scale for his stuff. I did and it was fairly lame, not enough to deal with Chief at least:

For me it just seems like a troll because there's no way they seriously claimed Bardock is faster but weaker when like everyone agrees it's the opposite and only one random ass feat makes Bardock faster. They're literally doing a 180 of it but the feat they're using wouldn't even give Nolan the W unless they wank it to the highest level and downplay Bardock

Dragon Ball fans have been aching and starving for a win and this was was promised by most of the debating community to be a Bardock w, who is also a fan favorite character. that's why I think it's fake. Ben is a self professed Dragon Ball fan. There's no way he couldn't have simply pushed the Solar Disk feat under the rug as an outlier or not enough to give Bardock the w. It has to be a troll. Especially with a matchup like Chiefslayer being the winner by a landslide despite early results suggesting it was #2 with a decent margin away from ShadowTwo. That and I really doubt the community wants Doomslayer to waste his time clowning in Chief.
