Death Battle Discussion

Sorry to bring this subject again, but what prevents Image stories and characters from being part of a shared universe? I'd like to hear an actual argument
Since Marvel and DC comics are all connected, they have the concepts of Earths. These organize the characters into which dimension they exist. However, Image Comics is an expression from different comic authors who have freedom. As a result, many Image comics do not share a universe at all. So all the events occurring with the FDA outlawing chicken in Chew, has no impact on anything happening to Invincible or Spawn.

This of-course varies as well depending on the writer. the Spawn/Batman crossover for example despite being an intercompany crossover is confirmed to be canon to both the Spawn universe AND the Frank Millerverse. Also they had a couple of massive worldwide crossover events and Savage Dragon has had crossovers with Invincible and Spawn but I don't know if those or canon, I hesitate to get into SD because I hear it literally devolves into rule 34 porn shit.

As I said in the convo thread.

DB fans be so down bad that they get hyped at a Piccolo recolor that prolly only took three seconds to make by upping the exposure on his model. :trinny
