“Educational drawing contest”

what i originally wanted to do was make a "newbie learning contest"

where id hammer out a tutorial exactly like the one below this post, simplify it for people, and teach them
and they'd enter their final result
and people would vote on the best one

it would be an educational contest, that actually gives people an incentive to learn
but without having to feel like they're among gods, because the gods would be teaching them instead of making them compete with something that they arent ready for

(this was attempted once, but i never had the momentum to keep pumping out tutorial after tutorial. and people didnt seem all too interested)

this way, artists that want to compete can compete on their level (as beginners), feeling way less shame
and once they get down the basics, they can enter the official drawing contest
all while making it fun and educational at first!

do any of you think you would be interested enough to partake? if you have anyone that comes to mind who would, tag them here so we can discuss it

this is the kind of tutorial id be giving out, itd go over basics in a unique way that makes interesting connections like eggbert (rather than the boring “here’s an oval. next we draw a circle. then draw a square”)
other skilled artists would also be making similar tutorials (if we have any interested in contributing)
