Even assuming one of the investigative roles is scum that still leaves a lot of ways to confirm people Town/catch scum/clear people even if one gets taken out.

I can see Doddsy’s reveal being the Sam Tarly’s sword of this game since it fits the same principle of something that looks like a clear but plausibly can be figured out it’s not without being bastard.
