Fable was one of those games that changes your life completely...
it's fun, it's mostly rng as you might guess and it's not finished, plus last time i checked i think the creator has been absent for a while. it captures the junji ito vibe perfectly though and the art is very dope as a result

I really liked Fable 2, but not so much 1 and 3. Is that an unpopular opinion?

Maybe Mario Kart: Double Dash in the sense that it's a fun game that I've always liked and played the most, but games like Ocarina of Time and Twilight Princess (and 3D Zelda games in general) were way more interesting to me than Mario when I first played them.
