Which Pokémon generation has your personal favorite graphics and why?

I like Generation 3’s the best, followed by Generation 2’s and Generation 1’s. I was never really a fan of the cell shaded graphics of Generation 4’s and Generation 5’s, and I like Generations 6, 7, 8, and 9’s graphics better than theirs.

I don't dislike any of the first 5 Gen styles, but 2 will always be my favorite.

Gen 2 too me had the best graphics, im a sucker for sprites and that genre always resonates with me

It's actually Generation 3 for me, surprisingly enough.

I feel that aside for maybe Dragon Quest IV-VI, Pokemon Gen V had the best sprite graphics on DS. Only other competition was Chrono Trigger, but it wasn't that massive of a jump compared to the SNES graphics.

I'm usually a sucker for GBC sprites and I love the sprites when in battles but IDK, GSC never did it for me the same way other GBC games have
